Nobody puts MM in a corner. Also, I highly value FFD's opinions, and generally enjoy his posts. I agree with his sentiments and viewpoints in regard to MM. And I don't consider MM to be the little brother of OoT. MM is its own, amazingly awesome game, and I'm glad that it's currently winning this battle. --- ziggie ziggie wop wop |

Majora's Mask was my Game of the Decade before the contest started. I have it winning in my Fun Entry 'Favorites' bracket. I know a lot of other people who think it's the greatest Zelda too. Majora's Mask is gaining ground in Europe. It was only around 53% in
Europe after the board vote ended and now it's above 59% right now. I

It's
almost impossible for Brawl to win this. It isn't going to win any
regions by any large number, MM probably has a better day vote than it,
and everyone wants to see Brawl lose. --- DFF |

Another
gain for MM. Brawl really needs to start cutting soon or it may find
itself in too big of a hole to come back. MM should get the day vote
but not by so much. The morning vote should go to Brawl though. |

WHAT?!
I came back to see how bad FFX would destroy Brawl after that pitiful
performance against Fallout 3, only to discover it's not even in the
match! What in the hell happened? I left last night before the power hour was even over because FFX had the lead and I figured that if Zelda couldn't even hold the lead through the power hour it was toast. How in the hell did it fend off FFX's godly night vote? Did it even fend FFX off over night or did FFX just collapse Crono-style during the day? Man, I thought Square had finally won a contest for the first time in years but I suppose the cosmos just won't allow it! --- *lurks* |

The admin was an idiot and did not make it the Final match. If that was the final, OoT wins.....PERIOD. 2007 L Block*. The
Game of the Decade: A Zelda game with aliens, dancing ReDeads, and all
manner of funny stuff. Aw yeah. The only reason why I haven't been
having as much fun with MM as I wanted to is because I keep having to
use FAQs to get through dungeons and find sidequests and such...and
that's more of a positive for the game because...okay, bottom line:
Nintendo was REALLY on crack or something when they made Majora's Mask.
I heard that until Morrowind's release, no game had more sidequests,
and most of MM's are of the highest quality, too. Also it's the height
of Nintendo's cinematic talent (can't wait to see that ending cutscene
on my big screen TV instead of a computer screen). And now, for more of LMS's utterly annoying stupidity! That
"one impressive match" (not true, it blasted GS) was awesome,
considering its opponent. One of the performances of the ever really. Eh, last year's RE4/MGS3 match and the two round 5 matches predicted FFX/MM remarkably well, so I don't think FFX's performance on RE4 was really much better than MM's against MGS3 at all. Our expectations for RE4 going in were way too high (at least mine were, once I looked at what RE4 had actually done last contest). As for GS, I wouldn't take that game over Paper Mario, and FFX = MM only gives PM a win with like 53% or so. My perception of FFX has been a game that would get somewhere in the 31-32% area on OOT. The crusade against FFX is over though, now that it's lost to MM. Don't think people will ascribe strength it doesn't have to it anymore (i.e. I hope no one still thinks it could keep things close against LTTP!) --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |
