lol wii. melee will 60-40 brawl

I dunno if this is relevant at all but Persona 4 managed around 300 votes when it started the comeback on Dead Rising.If that happened here it's be pretty damn close.

SSBB better get some Sonic/Snake pictures. It took me a few minutes followed by an additional nudge from B8 to find Sonic in one pic against FO3, and I still don't think I've seen Snake in a pic yet. If any other game wasn't showing off either of its arguably two biggest characters, the board would be in fits; we've already seen it with Auron to some degree. If SSBB manages to barely lose to either game today and doesn't get either of them in any kind of clearly prominent way in at least one picture, I might buy that SSBB was screwed out of a win. Even then, that it's even a contender despite never really showing them off all contest (and only showed Sonic prominently once last year) is a bit of a statement in itself.

I know my cousins have been out of school for a while. When I was in high school, we'd be out by this time. We were always back in school very shortly after New Years in order to give us a few more days (or the entire week) before Christmas off.

I'm liking this match. Zelda has the lead, but it's small enough for FFX to have plenty opportunity to catch up and give us a suspenseful neck-and-neck race to the finish!

If that happens,this will be the first time in contest history that the second semi-final match is 50/50.... it makes me wonder how the start of the final poll would be....

Potential Final Fantasy and Zelda Spoilers

Link pulled out the white sphere and trusted to hope. The massive jet of fire approached and vaporized a trench 20 feet deep in the ground along its path. Was he about to die, alone and without memory of how he had come here? But he was invincible......A blue forcefield erupted from the earth below and blocked the fireblast inches away from his face. The shield waxed and waned as it absorbed the fire, and held it at bay.

Yuna: Holy.
Wakka: We never should have done this. It's blasphemy, treason, an abomination to attack a god!
Tidus: This isn't over yet.

Tidus charged at Link, sword raised, ready to use his most skillful technique. Link looked at him, and seemed to pause for a moment weighing judgment, and then blue beams shot out from Holy and froze him in place. They lifted him in the air and threw him into the still gathering pool of fire in front of Holy.

Yuna: There is only one thing left to do.
Rikku: Noooooo!
Wakka: Stop, Yuna. We should stop this foolishness now and surrender. We deserve death for this.....perhaps Link will have mercy on us.
Yuna: Link will not have mercy. He is a hero, but that has never made him merciful.
Wakka: ........

Auron: Let us begin.
Yuna: Farewell, Sir Auron.

Yuna knelt and prayed. To whom? She was confused about who was really God- Yevon, the fayth, or this god of victory Link. Whoever it was, someone heard her prayer, for Auron began to change, increasing in size and twisting and contorting into a new shape. The Final Aeon took flight even as the last drops of Bahamut's fireblast were soaked into the pool of fire held in front of Holy. The Aeon dove, accelerating straight at Link, trying to go through the gathered flame and the shield of Holy.

Link saw the monstrosity of the Final Aeon fly towards him at a terrible speed. Did he intend to charge straight through the fire, and the blue shield that the white sphere had summoned forth? Link could feel the evil in the Final Aeon......a name crossed his consciousness: "Sin." He turned his will towards the blue shield, and somehow, as before when he had lifted Tidus, he could command the power. He tried something more agressive and dangerous than before this time: he fired the collected pool of fire back, at the Final Aeon and the enemy fighters behind him.

The Final Aeon reeled, but Bahamut's fire was not equal to the task, and it slowly made headway upstream against the flow of fire. Link tried to add bursts of his own Din's Fire spell, but this did not seem to impede the monster's progress at all. At last the last of the fire was consumed, and Sin slammed into Holy itself. Link felt the blue shield weaken as the planet groaned before the force that plagued it. He poured his own strength into Holy, trusting it. He didn't want to trust this sphere that I knew nothing about, but it felt wholesome and good....the very opposite of the monster trying to kill him.

Wakka: It's over. We are doomed to death and perdition. The blue wave of Holy comes to sweep us sinners away and drown us in its righteousness.

Link let the power of Holy fade away back into the planet. There was no sign left of his foes....Holy had destroyed those among them who were still alive, and left no trace. Link opened a bottle of his custom-made Lon Lon Ranch milk to celebrate, and found a note inside instead of milk. He opened it, in puzzlement, and read:

Dear Link,

I have taken everything dear to you. If you wish to get them back, meet me tomorrow in front of Hyrule Castle, where I will destroy you. This is a trap, and I know that you know that, but I also know that you are so arrogant and sure of yourself that you will come anyways.
