think Fallout 3 is actually a day oriented game, as people have said.
That would explain why it didn't gain very much on MP at night, and

terms of votes cast, we are now about 2/3 of the way through the night
vote. The rest of the night vote (from now until 8 AM) should contain
about as many votes as the first 70 minutes of the match, or the second

is a slight favorite to me too at this point. If MM just gets 52% of
the votes from 8 AM to 6 PM tomorrow, that's 1600 votes right there and
should be enough to ensure victory. To get up to our target of 1500 by
8 AM would require FFX to pull in about 57% of the votes between now
and then. Considering FFX is below that in Europe, I think that's quite
unlikely, though it's true that FFX doesn't really need the 1500 target

Common sense. I don't think there's statistical data about it. It's certainly true on Gamefaqs. I suspect if you polled everyone in the world who's bought a game in the last 5 years which they respected more, RE4 or WOW, RE4 would win that too. While WoW has obviously been played by more people and is much more well known to people at large, it's also a hell of a lot more "disrespected" than RE5 as well. WoW just has a really bad image among lots of people; it'll always have trouble shaking that. isn't everything. Of those currently active WoW subscribers, how many
of them are casual players as opposed to hardcore? How many of them
would actually prefer WoW to every other game released this generation?
This isn't even touching the negative stigma WoW attracts from people
generally, not just gamers. When people hear WoW, they think of those
neckbeards in their parents' basements raiding all day. While that's
obviously not what WoW players are like generally, it seems to be a

Not
fan to hater ratio, a simple "which do you respect more" question given
to all gamers. It's not like FFVII- FFVII beats everything but OOT on
this site for all the hate it gets, while WoW has difficulty beating
anything stronger than fodder 1v1. I mean, no one's going to be
convinced of anything in this discussion. We'll see in 10 years if
anything has managed to rise to OOT/FFVII's level on Gamefaqs. I really should get to sleep. Last projection before I go: OOT/FFX Round 4: Majora's Mask with 50.43% OOT/FFX Round 5: Final Fantasy X with 50.34% That's the first time the average of those projections has shown an MM win. as someone who used to play WoW (stopped towards the end of Burning
Crusade), and thinks it's really a great game... I have a really
hard time believing it's more "respected" than RE4, as vague and
undefinable a measure that might be. Can I back that up with anything

had an entire South Park episodes stereotyping the destructive,
addictive nature of the game. FFVII does poorly in the first hour of
GameFAQs contest matches. It... really isn't that close. It's a
testament to WoW's popularity that it would even get an entire
television episode (from a hugely popular show) all to itself, but how
is the game really perceived outside the subscriber base? And are all
of those subscribers even fans? Doesn't WoW's China sales rival or
exceed its US sales, and aren't most of those China sales used as a

These points can easily be argued. But yo is right; "respect" is a
vague concept and it's probably not possible to have an objective

sure WoW's China sales exceed its US sales, yeah. It's not all gold
farming though- WoW is a really really big game in China. You may have
noticed how it and its characters always do really well in China in our
