Fallout 3 has had a damn good contest run. Sure its division were weaker than most, but getting to the Final Four is still a good showing. While I think RE4 is still the strongest Non-Nintendo/Non-Square game, FO3 might be the strongest Western game(that or Portal anyway).

Completely decimated by Dr. Football in the Guru Contest!

Looks like if FFX wins I'll be third on the leaderboard (milf_rider). and win the Guru. Is that typical of a guru winner or do they usually win the contest as well. Looking at how close it is, I can't believe a couple of silly decisions I made in order to differentiate my bracket (KOTOR>FFIX, FFXII>Portal). Oh well I'll still be beside myself if FFX manages to do it. I'm happy with my battle top 50 as well.

Just 21 out of the top 101 brackets get the match right. Many of those who got it wrong were from the top of the leaderboard. Unfortunately for BlAcK_TuRtLe, that did not include Jiggy55 who is just one point ahead of him. As you go down the chart, prediction percentage actually goes up into the 40s before fading away. I'm guessing a lot of the higher tiers were supporting GSC or one of the MGS games.

Fallout 3 doing well. Smash actually typically ends around where it is at the end of the power hour in 24-hour matches, while WRPGs usually have a bad power hour. So, don't think Brawl can get 60% in this match- Fallout can perhaps push 43%, which would be very nice to see. Overnight it could get as high as 46% before going back down with the day vote.

And if Fallout 3 can reach 46% overnight, or even 45%, that means it may win an hour or two in the deep night. FFX would slaughter Smash in the dead zone (only to get slaughtered with the day vote).
