The age poll indicates 6% more kids under 18 than that poll though, and you'd expect it to actually be lower since some high school seniors are 18, so there should be some bias in one or both of those polls. Unless a lot more people than I'd expect from a site like Gamefaqs are high school dropouts.....

This is going to sound like overanalysis, but I think some high school students wouldn't understand what "grade school student" means. It sounds like "elementary school student."

My bracket might be terrible in this contest, but I'm somehow still in the 93 percentile and I managed to correctly call the lowest predicted match of the contest, yay! If only I was able to research into my picks as I usually do with these things. I'm typically so involved with these things that usually I help enter brackets for the Guru. But alas, I haven't had a laptop for a good 8 months. Thats what happens when you get wasted and piss all over yours :(

No, I'm on record as being against that kind of douchebag and actually thinking that's one of the few things/the only thing you are 100% right about. I still haven't gotten over Umineko being on our top 10 list, for instance - just plain stupid, the absolute definition of flavour of the month. I don't even care about it being a "non-game", it's just a ridiculous thing to include even if it'd been 100% gameplay.

But yeah, Mana was right. I haven't even played Majora, I admit. Played OoT, played TP, got fairly bored by both of them. Like Prime and Mario. It was like "yeah, this is kind of fun, but I'm bored". I wouldn't go as far as to say they're bad games (whereas I would certainly say that about FFX), but yeah, just sort of...averagey.

If you remember I started arguing in that other topic because transience essentially said that every Pokemon game since RBY was s*** and that I/we were just as much drones as any Zelda fan for wanting it to win. It was an outrageous comment and I called him out on it - and that got me into the whole drone debate with ExTha and whoever else. Find the topic in the archives when it gets put up and you'll see I actually like GSC the least of the main series, for one thing (mediocre game until the final two boss fights, which bring it back to a level just about comparable to the rest).

Certainly not saying Fallout 3 > Brawl, but this is why I think it will at least push 46%. I am sure you all already discussed this - what was the average percentages that people are expecting fallout to get on Brawl?

I wouldn't say FO3 has gotten stronger since last year, going even with HL2 was pretty expected, if anything all NV did was keep the game in the memories of fans.

If Majora's Mask leads FFX the first half hour, it has a fair chance of winning. It's a 24-hour match, so it'll get its full day vote, and FFX, while bad early on, is not FFVII.

FFX is still the favorite. People would be sweating bullets if it only won with 52% today, and understandably so, but it had an awesome performance. Still, unless FFX clobbers Brawl in the finals, I think Majora's Mask should be considered the star of the contest.

Majora's Mask, unlike Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, is certainly deserving of GotD though. I'm playing through it and there's some seriously phenomenal level design, not to mention that MM feels like Nintendo's cinematic zenith. And then there are the masterfully done sidequests, and the game is even one of the funniest I've played (sorry, can't get over dancing ReDeads and aliens in a Zelda game).

WW and TP are not GotD material at all.
