If
RE4 can pull the upset tonight I feel like it has a tiny chance to
upset Brawl. I can't see MM or RE4 even really coming within 5%. Not as big of a gain for Brawl there as expected. |

I'm glad to hear that Canadian residents are eligible for prizes. Has

Because it's not that type of fighter? Also these same"fighter" fans bumlove crappy games like DOA and Tekken. No the type of fighter where the entire series isn't that good for competitive battles. don't know. Even if Brawl wins this, this is not a good sign. TP gets
just as much hate among fan circles as Brawl does, and look what's
drawing all the anti-votes here. Can you really imagine people voting this over FFX or RE4 or MM in the finals? MM gets even more hate than Brawl or TP. FFX also gets more hate overall than RE4, and that isn't stopping it from beating RE4. If
you want to compare to Final Fantasy, where OoT is 7, Majora is
definitely FF8 as probably the third strongest 3-D entrant. 9 would be
Wind Waker, where the mainstream hates it but has a dedicated fanbase,
and TP would be X, the "meh" entrant that still manages to be the

(or something similar). There is only one way to do a bonus match. the early reactions to this match were, uh, quite the reactions.
Automatically proclaiming SSBM would be beating LoZ:TP because SSBB was
losing during the board-vote? Given SSBB just won an argument many
people here didn't want it to win, it was never likely it would win the
board-vote here (or probably future rounds this contest). You're better

*Wakes up* *Checks poll* Make your time, FFX. You're the only thing standing between MM and the championship it rightfully deserves. No, seriously. MM NEEDS to go to the finals now. Everything will be so right then: it'll vindicate itself in the greatest fashion possible, it'll vindicate FF8 by proxy due to being the equivalent Zelda entry, and Brawl will not be the champion. Looks
like this'll end under 52%. I figured it would be closer than people
were anticipating because I thought there was lots of evidence that the
4way format hindered Zelda relative to other stuff, and didn't trust
their 4way match much to begin with. There were lots of 54+%

Little
late to the party, but MM gets a lot more hate than its fans think it
does. A LOT of people consider it one of the worst Zelda games, and it
was the big black sheep of the franchise before WW came along and it's
still second in that regard to this day. TP hate exists, but is

It's
just really hard to argue SSBM would beat something SSBB couldn't now,
and using SSBB's early vote to defend it right after Brawl upset the
board is mighty unfair. The board-polls can say what they will -- I
