I'm sorry, but I gotta laugh at anyone who thinks Melee doesn't take this comfortably (assuming TP holds the win). The site just partook in the same voting ridiculousness that Board 8 did when Brawl came out. I should have seen it coming after running all those Brawl/Melee polls.

Melee being the far more respected Smash game among the fans of course. Brawl only won(marginally below 100 votes) because of the casual votes and wii being more popular.

Yeah, I favor Brawl. No Melee fan voted for Brawl in that freeze, and Melee has a Christ-like board vote, which means Brawl's board vote was the anti-Christ right now.

As is, Brawl's been stalling TP in the opening five minutes, holding it to a small lead. Brawl's still got a great chance of winning this if it turns out it has the same mediocre board vote it usually has.

There's no reason to think Melee would be the favourite if TP wins. I wouldn't laugh if you go for the upset, but that's what that match will be.

Are you surprised? You've dealt with Turtle a good two years less than the rest of us, and his first two years here were preeeeeeetty bad. He's starting to turn things around after "hey guys" and "ciao," but yeah, will take a lot of work to get on Board 8's good side.

Sounds like you suck wtih whatever characters you picked. Brawls balance isn't any better and the fact that the mechanics have been dumbed down means it's easier to play competitively with more characters.
