I think Portal's pretty legit though. of course that's because I think Mass Effect is stronger than KOTOR, but whatever.

I'd say set KOTOR and Mass Effect equal and see what comes of it but FF9/FF10

Also yeah, Portal is pretty legit 2 million free copies does that to you.

Unfortunately, that's not possible. Both of their values are through Portal, so yeah.

And yeah, I think this says a lot more about Portal, really. It's pretty legit. RE4's a strong game, no doubt about that.

I'll take SW:KotOR > FF12 (due to SFF) and I don't believe GTA:VC can beat GTA:SA like that, so between that and the night-match they'll be stuck in, I'm sticking with FFX for now. It'll be pretty close though.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

BG2 is now above the entire Persona 4 fourpack.

I'm kinda assuming RE4 gets the day vote here, but it's probably not a huge advantage one way or the other.

Yep. ME did considerably better than FF12 despite what ME and FF12 did in BGE2...plus ME2 still gets talked about more than FF13 lately; I don't recall anything about FF13 really being discussed around here since the NRT, personally. Throw in the recent announcements about ME3 and porting ME2 to the PS3, and it's in fine shape to bring home the gold.

I can however roll with "slightly less SFF than usual" as SMG did slightly outperform Mario on Link, but I see no reason to believe there was rSFF, especially since it didn't do that much better.

Well, RE4 may have won the board vote, but the Portal Power Hour is over now.

that's actually why I think it overperformed. Galaxy isn't strong but for those who know it/like it, it's on a higher tier than Twilight Princess. normally in a situation like that, the big game makes the smaller one look bad. in this case, Galaxy is the more respected, higher rated, more liked game.

Popular at school, but not as cool as Dr_Football, Guru Champ!

SMG was one of the four most nominated games this contest (along with good company like FFX, SSBM, and RE4) while LoZ:TP was the lowest-seeded LoZ-game this contest (despite the other two LoZ-games in the bracket catching considerably more hate in their hey-day). Between that and SMG's widely-warm reception (and SMG2's from this year, too) compared to LoZ:TP's not being so unanimous, there may not be a lot of SFF and there might not even be any, somehow...but I'm not taking SMG to rSFF a multi-platform LoZ-launch game.

Persona 4 at 29%~ looks good to me. Everybody knew it was incredibly weak from the start anyways. Considering it's a game probably only a fraction of people who visit this site even know about it did pretty well.
