Eh, I think Wii/GameCube games are so interchangable the difference is negligible. Especially since TP and RE4 both were released on the Wii as well.

I've considered Melee and Brawl dead even basically since the last contest (and rated both of them lower than most people here). I did think Melee would win the SFF, but that's just internal SFF. My posts have heaped praise on Melee and scorn on Brawl, because that's about what I think of them as far as game quality goes.

So, subtracting 2% from Fallout 3, so that it gets 58.60% on Halo, and setting Halo 2 to Halo....(don't you DARE bold this part and say how wrong it is!)

Zelda:TP is expected to receive 62.61% on Fallout 3.

THEN.... note that Zelda:TP was worth 60.2% on Half-Life 2 back in the BGE. Convert that to this year, and set Prime equal to Half-Life 2 (fair enough... HL2 seemingly won the ASV, but I'll give HL2 the benefit that it might squeak a win at night), so Zelda:TP would be expected 60.2% on Metroid Prime! Expected result for next round? 53.03% victory for PRime.

Analysis

The one same series match no one wanted to see. Final Fantasy IX finally gets to have a match during its best time, but it’s up against one of the worst opponent for it. It’s a shame that we still won’t have any information on Final Fantasy IX. Sure we can use its performance last round, but that was a strong day game going against a weak day game during the day.

Last contest Final Fantasy VIII was able to break 65% on Final Fantasy IX. Personally I would take Final Fantasy X over VIII without too much trouble, but I’m not sure whether Final Fantasy X has the SFF power that VIII had over IX. Yes all three games were released over a two year period, but Final Fantasy VIII and IX were released on the same console while Final Fantasy X came out on the Playstation 2. So while Final Fantasy X may be the stronger game if it is weaker at SFF Final Fantasy IX compare to VIII it could look weaker.

Well this is the final match which I have no interest in. Even things like the next match or even Fallout 3/Brawl have at least have me wondering how well the loser will perform. Final Fantasy X will probably get the SFF and if it doesn’t win by our high expectations we’ll just keep saying that it’ll lose to Resident Evil 4.
