trounced? Brawl lost to MGS4 FFS with TP in the poll. If there is a backlash with melee fans then TP is the onyl game that an win.

I doubt there would be much backlash, any Melee fan that is really mad about it losing to Brawl to think of anti-voting it probably would have never voted for Brawl in the first place.

All the proof you need that the only thing standing between Brawl and GotD is FFX at this point. We can directly compare after RE4/FFX, although the SFF nature of the 4 ways kind of defeats the purpose.

Also, I take no pride in this match (unlike Majora > GSC lol board 8) since it was completely a tossup, and anyone telling you different is flatout lying. Brawl winning a close match is the best result, since if the gap was bigger either way, people would argue otherwise that there was logical thought in this pick.

Yeah, I'm glad we can avoid the "LOL MARIO/SAMUS ONCE AGAIN" stat topic hyperbole. A toss-up match actually ends up being a toss-up match. What are the odds?

The silver lining here is that this didn't come out of nowhere. The KH match basically told us this was coming. BT is also legitimately awesome now after his great Skype appearance, so I seriously would like if he won this.

I think you're the only one who has that pick, so everthing else panning out, it would come down to me and you for that match. I feel pretty confident in Majora though, given how retroactively good it did against the stronger MGS through GSC last year.

I went to bad last night when Melee had over 52%... I honestly WAS wondering if Melee would lose it due to having a great power hour, and obviously it would be Melee getting more rally votes. At Melee didn't get crushed. Kudos to Brawl, and I'm glad voters have good taste, in that they like all the crazy items and Solid Snake and stuff. =P

Random prediction: Melee is the bracket favorite. Of course, we will never know unless Brawl's prediction percentage is horrendous today.

My main bracket is happy for now.... however, my alt bracket is sad. If Melee won that account would have had an excellent chance for a Top 50 finish, since it had Fallout 3/Melee/FFX/MGS4 for the final 4, with Melee > FFX in the final...

Now, since my MAIN account was screwed over by GSC's loss (I have it going to the finals) I'm gonna have to hope that Majora's Mask takes out FFX for even a CHANCE at a good rank at the end!

Yes, I'd support an all-Zelda final, although I would have voted for all of the remaining Zelda games over Brawl whether or not it had beaten Melee first. For contest winners, I'd favor WW > MM > RE4 > SOTC > FO3 > TP > MP > FFX > MGS3 > SSBB

Most of us don't whine and it is a close match which everyone more or less expected. Besides anyone that whined would just be adding fuel and starting a fire.
