I'm surprised there hasn't been a "This contest has lost all credibility" topic about this match yet. Many thought for sure Melee would beat Brawl easily (Golden Sun beating GTA:SA certainly caused a ruckus on the boards).

@Black Turtle: I'm actually 15.

It comes down to this: Melee feels like it could be the best GameCube game, while Brawl does not feel like it could be the best Wii game. I doubt that that'll change after I get Resident Evil 4.

X has been weak, and performed up to par only in one match. Id say brawl would be the favorite, but it might get antivoted. X could win, but.. it might not even get there..

I really thought Melee was doing exactly what it needed to when it stalled/gained well into the night vote, but Brawl has just killed it with the morning vote.

Also, Brawl is unleashing that Final Smash all up in the b****. I may have picked a bunch of bad choices, but damn it feels good to at least get KH2 > KH1 and Brawl > Melee right.

Also, Brawl was the favorite and will probably be the bracket favorite as well. The Melee supporters were just much louder, so it might have seemed like Melee was the favorite.

Brawl is killing Melee with the combined power of Europe and North America. Melee's NA percentage is continuing to bleed here. Both the US and Canada are shifting closer to Brawl. Brawl will probably steal Canada, but not the US. Any fighting back that Melee tries to do will have to come after the BSV ends. The last 2 hours has a chance at favoring Melee here.

It's strange, I've never played either of these games and I was fine with Melee winning the contest but a Brawl contest win leaves me feeling really indifferent. Almost like it's undeserving but I've never even played it to make that sort of judgment and I'm fully aware of that.

I did think Melee would win this comfortably based mainly on the negative reception brawl got from a lot of smash fans. By the looks of things it turns out its haters were just very loud and in the minority.

It makes sense, 11-1 is the Europe ASV, which should even more heavily favour Brawl

Interesting. I feel pretty comfortable in Brawl winning that one. How about MGS3/SotC vs Majora?

The Europe ASV should start around 9 AM because it's 3 PM in most of Europe. The UK ASV starts around 10 AM because they are an hour behind most of Europe.

SSBB_GH3 can still catch me if I really screw up the ending stretch here, and considering I have Melee in my battle, he could start his comeback with this match. Still, it looks like I'm getting one of those private boards. Now if I only had any idea what to do with that one...

Shadow of the Colossus vs. a Zelda game. In the daytime. That is all.

Though it shouldn't be particularly difficult to rally against Zelda, I suppose. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if the Zeldas were even more beastly than we thought they were. At least Majora's Mask deserves it!!!

You'd probably need GTAIII to 53-47 GTAIV to get HL2 > Galaxy, as a matter of fact. I probably would pick Galaxy over both games too now. Thank you lol 4-ways for making Prime and Galaxy look like garbage. And lol 2009 stats where WoW doubles Paper Mario.

How come we always say the ASV starts bang on the hour? Is it different in the states or do schools not finish at 3pm? Over here they finish at 3pm ish and it takes like 15-30 minutes to get home for most I think.
