If
Melee's percentage in North America increases overnight, it should
counter some of the damage done by the overnight regions. I've never
seen any cases of a game's percentage increasing in North America

So
back on a subject that isn't a 55 year-old Melee fan yelling at someone
half his age online, Melee has won 7 updates in a row. Tell anyone this
was coming two hours ago when we were all on Skype, and no one believes
it. Melee was getting killed in all the overnight regions.
Europe was over 60% at one point, and Asia was holding a doubling.
There's other examples that Luster or someone of his ilk would remember
before me, but that's just offhand. I think the only major place Brawl
was losing was, uh.... the UK? And then it turns around and does this

call myself an old man all the time! I'm 28 in a couple months, that's
geriatric in internet years! And I figured your rooting for Melee meant
you prefer it, since almost no one is left rooting for a bracket at
this point. I also said on The Show I lost some faith in Melee after the KH match, but got it back when all the games related to Brawl started tanking. Sure this won't be a 60-40 SFF skullf***, but who cares. I've earned the right to gloat about this for years if Melee wins. No one on this site was more important to the Melee > Brawl sentiment than me, and no one caught more crap for it. And now we have a match that could prove I was right all along. The weird thing here is there isn't a single place Brawl can rally from. The fanbase prefers Melee. be fair, it did have an equally large fanbase of its own for a little
while after it first came out. Then people tried exploring it and there
was nothing. So you're right, it alienated all the big Melee fans and
all the new Brawl fans just moved on to something else. red sox 777

Just because most people aren't bracket-backers anymore doesn't mean everyone isn't. A look at the standings will tell you I still have a shot. And I know you lost faith in Melee, which is what I was bringing up. You shouldn't have. It was your key to victory in the first games contest and it hasn't lost its clout since then. Why you'd question it is beyond me. If you got crap for any position you've taken, it's the attitude you put behind it. Anything that threatens your self-esteem is something you attack instantly without reserve, and you do put your self-esteem behind these contests. And that's why creativename said you lost either way - you're gung-ho to support your position as long as you're looking rosey and you're quick to abandon it when you think you're not. You supported Melee until the last round and you started supporting it again as soon as you realized it had a shot to win, but when some trivial data popped up that suggested it might not you took it up and ran with it. All told, you attack others because you're not sure of yourself, and you can only back yourself when the results tell you to. This match is not at all over. Brawl is still winning Europe, which tends to dominate the deep night vote. Brawl is losing ground in Europe from what I can tell. Always a good thing here. problem with the Europe/Asia vote in this match is...well, it's Europe
and Asia. They both hate these games. Votals in those areas might hit
an all-time record low for such high-profile games. There's not going

interacted you on what must by thousands of occasions now, even if they
are online, and I never made an age crack. Calling someone else "son"
has nothing to do with age, and you'd be pretending to not understand
modern slang if you "thought" it was. And if I'm psychoanalyzing your

The
problem with the Europe/Asia vote in this match is...well, it's Europe
and Asia. They both hate these games. Votals in those areas might hit
an all-time record low for such high-profile games. There's not going
to be a big night swing. Yeah, I mentioned this earlier in this topic.
