Nah. I remember the Crono/Mario incident when it was started early and ended late. And Crono had the lead at the time it was supposed to close. But Mario won on the extension time. If THAT doesn't make an extension, I doubt what's happening today will since Falout 3 is winning this anyway.

For the 20th time or thereabouts, the polls typically started around 11:45-11:50 in 2003, not 12:00. Mario/Crono was 5-10 minutes early, and about 20 minutes late. No matter whether you slice off the early votes or the late votes, Crono won every single 24-hour segment.

I wouldn't say that we would have to wait until tomorrow to get our match. I remember back in October, there were 2 consecutive days of polls that glitched up in which they didn't go online at 12:00 AM EST. For the second poll that glitched up and went online around 1:08 AM, Bacon put it up without having to log into his account. This suggests that he manually put up the poll through the database.

Poll start and end times were not as consistant back then and there weren't any explict rules. Close poll tended to be closed at midnight not "24 hours after start" but that wasn't necessarily the rule. I'm not sure if any close poll was ever closed 24 hours after start unless it started almost exactly at midnight.

Not really, in fact I hadn't even played CT yet during that match. I regrettably voted for Mario actually.......

It's just a plain fact that Crono won that match fair and square. He won the first 24 hours, he won the last 24 hours, he won the 24 hours between midnight and midnight, and he won the 24 hours between 11:50 and 11:50 (typical start time).
