What was up with all the guys who were saying that Mass Effect is still weaker than FF12? FF12 is rightfully a big joke now.

Analysis

If World of Warcraft was the same game that we saw last contest this would be quite the match. Sadly this is not the case and like Arthas showed us in the Character Battle World of Warcraft is one of the few games where it performs significantly worse in this format. On the other hand Paper Mario did put up some impressive numbers so it probably won’t get crushed.

Personally I was not impressed with the performance of the Metal Gear Solid games last round. You have to remember that New Super Mario Bros. Wii is right behind Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and that game has very few excuses to be strong. The game was released while the Wii hate was pretty high and while the game got crazy sales to a lot of people it wasn’t the type of game that will place high on your favourites list, especially considering it was a Mario game where standards tend to be high.

Thus the final Mario game of the contest will be defeated; it’s kind of weird not to have any left after three rounds. I guess the best numbers to look at would be what TTYD got on Oblivion though with Metal Gear Solid 3 being weaker we should bump that prediction up a few percent points.

Omitted scores got it wrong.

This was considered one of the tougher matches before the contest started. Portal ended up winning easier than most probably expected but it still meant a relatively low prediction percentage. As early as the -20, the prediction percentage falls below 50 and quickly falls into the 30s from there. It stays in the low 30s for a while before fading away.

7 people fell off the Top 50. transience_002, TheArkOfTurus, transience, Greenmonkey034, maisface86, ZFS and GenesisTwilight did not have Portal winning the match.

that said, in a day match this is pretty scary. I'd call Paper Mario and Diablo 2 pretty equal in a 24 hour match if MGS3 and MGS4 are equal, so, Paper Mario or Diablo 2?
