Actually, I think the best reason I saw for why CJ flopped was because his name was listed as 'Carl Johnson' in the poll, and virtually no one in the game calls him anything other than CJ and maybe Carl.

I'm starting to agree with the fact FFX is not such a night beast. It seems to me that today's match show that it's quite good in a day vote as well. Instead of stalling in the morning, it continued to rise. As previously mentioned, FFX has a horrid power hour compared to other contenders. It depends on who the opponent is but a game like RE4 could do a lot of damage in the power hour. From what we've seen, this is RE4's peak moment.

RE4 starts out godly, then falls over time, and vice versa for FFX. RE4 is gonna need some godly Power Hour, then stall for the next 11 hours if it hopes to win.

Since these polls are centered around East Coast time, by the time the poll starts most people are sleeping. And on the WC people are busy with dinner. FFX having a huge antivote doesn't help it much either.

SFF works both ways, it does not have huge SFF power like OoT/FFVII. I'd be surprised if it hits over 60%.

This site has grown quite a bit. Never thought I'd see a wRPG this close to one of the older FF games. Especially not something like FFIX where no one hates it.

While it has less haters than X/VII the fanbase is small, especially compared to VII. It will get a resptectable % against FFX

Overall prediction percentage isn't too bad even though FFX was a lock to win this match. The top tiers did really well. Everyone in the Top 95 got the match right and only two people in the Top 264 got the match wrong. -33 and better manage to stay above 90.

KotOR is one of the strongest WRPG out there and has been pretty successful. But this match wasn't a debate because well, people forget that FFIX is still a beloved game. It has a retro-feeling a lot of people love. I would wager a lot of people have it as their favorite 3D FF because it's so classical.

It has to do with respect. Post FFX, everything they released has been sub-par and the quality dropped. The previous entries in the series won't change into any RPG fan's mind but... new voters don't respect the FF brand as much as before so they get less votes.

RE4/Portal is going to be a consistent match the entire day i think, considering how respected both games are there won't be any domination periods...RE4 will win comfortably because it's a stronger game. And FFX will beat RE4 due to Europes god awful taste.

I don't see any problems with FF XII and FF XIII.They were good games.I don't understand what people want from a series that every game is completely different.I mean you know what to expect with Zelda games,Call Of Duty games,Pokemon games and so on.But with FF you never know what to expect.I guess that is why people don't love all the games.But I was always a fan and will always be(okay except from the online games,these suck).

Lets try XIII. Melodrama is ok, if it actually delivers. They couldn't even reveal the main character's real name in a satisfying fashion, much less tell a coherent story with a world that they couldn't even fully present to the players.

FFXII was a great game, it would have been more appreciated if it wasn't called FF. FFXIII has far mroe fundamental problems as seen by the average critic scores.

XIV is acccepted as being crap even by SE..but it's an MMO so it can be improved.
