To figure out a character's Xsts Percentage ---> [(CvB)(BvA)]/50 = CvA
To compare how C would do against B ---> [(CvA)/(BvA)]*50 = CvB
To figure out how B would do against A ---> [(CvA)/(CvB)]*50 = BvA

SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense.

Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. See above for a watered down explanation for how the stats are calculated.

I dunno what this match has to do with Melee / Brawl. KH2 was a much better game than KH1, a good chunk of people feel that way. It seems like more people go the opposite with Smash Bros. -- Melee's still the top dog there.

I've probably put like 10-15 mins of reasoning on the podcast alone. Kinda getting old to go over it again and again, but Melee was the Nintendo game for most of this decade, and I don't think a single person here would deny that. I doubt 50%+ of the voters will forget that as well, even when confronted with the shinier upgrade.

I'm also close to a perfect Oracle here, so there's no reason for me to feel any differently about any match.

The trends in this match really make me feel better about Melee. If you had told me that this would have gone from dead even in the first two hours to KH2 winning by 52% by the end, I would never have believed you. A night match is really going to help out Melee. If they're even in a 24-hour match, then it's already won.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

The result of the match doesn't make me feel better about Melee/Brawl. The trends do.

I've always thought Brawl > Melee.

But this result is surprising me.

I guess I just thought KH1 was better received. After looking at gamerankings though, even professional reviews favor KHII slightly!
