I'm getting a MGS2/SotC vibe from this match. No trends, no huge vote swings, just constant back and forth. But the difference is this is a SFF match. KHII's story isn't that bad if you don't think about it too much! ...Really though, it does present itself in a pretty good way, but when you go to make a plot summary it just becomes really, really stupid. |

Man,
and I was being conservative with my 52/48 prediction here. I
considered giving KHII upwards of 54%; didn't expect it to be so close.
KHII had so many advantages imo. It certainly improved the gameplay. It was much flashier and more appealing. Characters looked cooler. It eliminated the admittedly awful platforming from the first game. The Gummi Ship was tolerable. Square had a larger presence, including Cloud and Seph, who were much more prevalent in the sequel (they freakin' fought each other). And it was also on the same console, targeted the same fanbase, and was well received. There was no noticeable fanbase split, so I thought the fanbase would shift toward the cooler and better game. The only advantage KH had (according to my thinking) was that it began the series, and I didn't think it was as significant here as it is with something like Halo. Halo revolutionized console gaming and was the face of its series. KH did neither; it was one popular PS2 game among many. believe TF2 > Fable has the record in this format for most
lead-changes at twenty. This is looking to break it as long as the ASV

With Halo, even if you never owned an Xbox, you could jump into the series at Halo 3 with little to no problem, because of the multiplayer aspect. I would wager that the amount of people who played KH2 without ever playing KH is minuscule.
