know I might be a little late to this conversation, but what's so crazy
about thinking LttP is #3 on this site? It's only competition is really
Pokemon and the Smash Brothers games, which are partly linked through

OOT
receives very very little hate, astoundingly little for a game as
popular as it is. Most of its hate on this site is probably from FFVII

Gut
feeling. Their next console will fo sho come with HD and a hard drive.
Why not give their most popular SNES games the HD treatment? They'd

is silly to try and claim OoT has any hate worth mentioning. I think you've been on this site for too long if you think OoT barely has any hate. That
is a rather bizarre choice. Nintendo would probably get a kick out of
being able to remake old games and make money, but I somehow don't

Yeah,
I've never met a person who actually hated OOT because they didn't like
the game. OOT, LTTP, and CT are probably the least hated out of all our

People
do hate Smash, even Melee and 64, though it's a pretty small number of
people who do that. I would think a lot of people hate Samus just
because of how annoying she can be in Smash (never dying, lots of

Any so-called "hate" OoT gets is plain not worth talking about. It's probably among the least hated games out of all games on this site, not just in terms of hate rate, but also total hate. still haven't seen a shred of argument supporting G/S/C which doesn't

When
riding Epona, Link is completely invulnerable to attacks, just as in
OOT. To separate Link from his horse and make him vulnerable to
attacks, our hero, er...villain must first defeat Link in a horse race.
But in order to buy a horse fast enough to challenge Epona, our villain
will have to engage in some disreputable acts such as those committed

already has, pretty much, and OOT is going through it now or will start
to do so soon. But how long until they are where CT is now in strength?
Never. OOT and FFVII can fall a good amount and still be miles above

thing about the Nintendo games is that they keep getting rereleased.
Virtual Console, compilations, outright remakes...Ocarina of Time will

Even
if OoT starts to get weaker, which game will actually take advantage?
No Nintendo game can overcome the SFF, everything around its age and
older is likely experiencing even faster aging, and new games should
count themselves lucky if they can avoid the tripling. An entrant will
need some kind of external boost - whether it be a Valve/Blizzard rally
or an L-Block internet frenzy - to beat Ocarina. I can't imagine any
game on the horizon having the intrinsic strength to even come close. A
beefed up Pokemon with awesome pictures and a pumped fanbase - one that
was able to dispose of Melee with ease - barely avoided OoT's doubling.
FFX, possibly the second strongest Square game we've got, managed 37%
despite two other (insanely popular) Nintendo games in the poll.
Ocarina is just freakish, and I really doubt anything will challenge it

Match XCV: (3) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker vs. (6) Assassin’s Creed II Last Round The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker – 63.95% God of War II – 36.05% Assassin’s Creed II – 61.89% ICO – 38.11% Analysis It’s now Wind Waker’s turn to make its case to win the division. Last round the game got off to a crazy start before God of War II brought it back down to Earth during the night. Assassin’s Creed II on the other hand did not impress the board though that might be due to our underestimation of ICO. I still believe that Assassin’s Creed II is the stronger game compare to its original. For one thing it was generally better liked. I know people like to say that the first game is stronger than the second game, but there are a lot of exceptions and this is one of it. If anything there is so many exceptions that I don’t think people should use it as a rule of thumb. Looking at what Metal Gear Solid 4 did to the original I would expect Assassin’s Creed II to put up a better performance, but given that the Metal Gear Solid games have been performing terribly I can see Wind Waker pushing to roughly the same percent.
