I know that this is going to sound like a little bit of revisionism, but I was totally ready to take SotC in the oracle if MGS2 got a Raiden pic. Instead, it got an awesome pic and SotC got an awful one!

The SNV shouldn't really kick in on a Saturday night until closer to 11. And why are we so sure that the SNV will go MGS 2's way? We have no idea how SotC does trend-wise.

Asia has been backing MGS2 pretty solidly, so that's why I've been assuming the SNV will go MGS2's way.

MGS 2's Asia percentage has dropped from 57% to 55.5% in the past hour-and-a-half. But Asia doesn't really get enough of the vote to swing things so much either way.

I'm thinking that the SNV will go SotC's way. It's percentage in America has been very slightly but also steadily increasing after we got out of the ASV (yes, I know there is no school today) hours.

BTW SotC is only winning in the Americas (aside from worldwide of course).

But yeouch the lead is at 144 now.

It's hard to imagine that SotC will suddenly take a dive in the final hours, considering it's been consistently above Metal Gear the entire match. There was never a point where MGS2 overtook SotC, it could only match it, and then it'd quickly lose the lead. People say Metal Gear has "clutch" or whatever, but c'mon: Shadow of the Colossus has its hardcore fans too.

I'd like to apologize to anyone who I convinced to take MGS2 in the battle a couple of days ago, when they were saying they were unsure of this match and scared of the upset. Did not expect it to be this close.

We work together, common sons, Never need to wonder how or why...

Ugh, how is MGS2 even close? It's the worse reviewed title of the series against a true master piece of a game. It's a case of people not doing their homework and only voting on a name brand...

Although this is moot, the winner will lose to MGS4 next round anyway.

Considering how good the MGS games are, being the worst doesn't mean the game can't be great.
