Hey Ulti, why don't you like the supremely amazing game of the ever that is SotC?

Because it's the worst game ever made, in my opinion. Bad camera, bad controls, bad plot, bad combat, bad handling, bad graphics, bad frame rate, and only a marginally effective soundtrack.

Analysis

In one of the biggest surprises to the board Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was able to defeat New Super Mario Bros. Wii, sure it got some help through a rally, but I’m think that the game would have won without it. As for the match this is less of who will win instead it is how much will it win by.

The main question about last round is how much was the win done by Marvel vs. Capcom 2’s strength and how much was it due to Mario’s weakness. By the time New Super Mario Bros. Wii came out people stopped caring about the system and while the game had great sales around the world things like the GotY poll showed that GameFAQs just doesn’t care about the game. At the same time Marvel vs. Capcom 2 does seem to have some strength. People seem to have good memories playing the game and with Marvel vs. Capcom 3 coming out next year there is some hype for the series.

Metal Gear Solid 3 shouldn’t have a problem winning this match and may even have a chance at doubling Marvel vs. Capcom 2. While I believe it is possible that the game has strength I can’t ignore the fact that no one cares about New Super Mario Bros. Wii and that Metal Gear Solid 3 is no slouch when it comes to these contests.

Assassin's Creed II - which has every reason to be stronger than the original - sucked it up against ICO in spite of Brotherhood's release. I'd take MVC2 over AC without a second thought, and probably NSMBWii too.

Snake Eater's performance against TimeSplitters 2 was worrisome, but I feel like this performance is pretty good. Looking forward to seeing how MGS4 fares against Diablo!

Most likely. Based on the early Geolocation results, it should go up a lot overnight because MvC2 is being crushed badly in Europe. MGS3 is also over 70% in Oceania and might also finish above 70% in Asia too.
