Omitted score tiers all got the match wrong.

Luster Soldier getting it wrong means the -6 and -8 brackets got hammered. The -6 bracket that wasn't Luster Soldier managed to get the match right so they weren't completely wiped out. The other high tiers do a lot better. We only lost one -7 bracket and over 80% of the -9 brackets got the match right. The prediction percentage falls into the 60s from there before fading away. Overall the prediction percentage was pretty good for what was supposed to be a close debated match even if it wasn't that close in the end.

18 people fell off the Top 50. Tequilla_Gundam (who is not Luster Solider), _HyperSpace_, Black_Tuesday, User_ID_Hunter, Karma_Devil, Anti_Purge, Fear-the-alts, Alt_Invaders, Summer-Solstice, Luster_is_War, For-The-Horde, The-missing-alt, -RevoLUEtion-, LUEmit-Break, LUE-is-private, -ExcLUEsion-, Me-smash-you and User-Level (who are all Luster Soldier) did not have Portal winning the match.

19 people got it wrong and survived. Man, yesterday's match makes no sense if you take previous data. FFXII did almost as well on Zelda:TP as Portal did on MGS4. Of course, stuff like this happens EVERY contest, so it's not abnormal at all.

Still, it's pretty crazy how a Final Fantasy game fell off the map like that... that doesn't happen often except for the old school games. GTA3 is stronger than FFXII now? And/or Portal is a little stronger than HL2 now? We'll find out soon enough. Portal seemed more impressive based on R1 and R2. Portal was pretty close to HL2 strength-wise in BGE '09, anyway.
