You can have a crappy ASV and still "win" the ASV war. Case-in-point.

It's a snowball effect from several waves of ASV. The thing is, ASV doesn't only happen for an hour then stop. Aside from having 4 hours of waves, the ASV votes taper off for a couple hours, meaning that whoever's winning the ASV will usually continue to trend upward until about the last three hours of the match.

Cali, Oregon, and Washington are all backing Persona 4 so the West Coast ASV is the only thing that can save Persona 4 if they don't flip.

Sixty votes left...good match. Glad I banked though; I was tempted to guess DR, but a match this close makes me feel good about finally going safe. I didn't like any information leading into this match anyway and had TWEWY winning this four-pack, so 63,000 potential points told me this was a good time to admit I don't know and keep the points!

Lusterboard's still board-blocking me though.

I was going to do some geolocation projections, but the geolocation trend chart we have is for weekend/summer matches, so it wouldn't work.

Yeah, a shame that I didn't track poll updates for the continent poll back in 2009, because that was a weekday poll which occured during the school year. I'll have to wait a while for another continent poll to be run on a weekday during the school year.

Currently, our continent's are probably contributing something like this:

North America 73%
Europe 19%
South America 3%
Asia 4%
Oceania 1%

North America seems a little too low. I'd probably put North America at 75% with Europe at 18% and South America at 2% (remembering that South America's voting doesn't really go into full force until the ASV). Asia and Oceania sounds about right.

They are backing P4 because they haven't gotten out of school yet.

Blue is slowly taking over the USA map. An hour ago barely anything west of the Mississippi was blue.

Man, Gamefaqs was so good for most of Round 1 too. I mean, I like both games, but Persona 4 is a top 10 game of the decade while Dead Rising was fun, but only worth about one short play through.
