Dawn might be making some difference. I don't think I've even seen more
than 10 people on B8 hyped for it though. I saw more people hyped for
Catherine than GS:DD here which is just really weird since I thought

I think the problem is the word "casual" here. At one time, casual meant Halo and frat boys, etc. However, there is a new casual, and that's Nintendo Wii casual. The casual that appeals to "non-gamers". Old casual will never be strong here, but new casual doesn't even make it into these contests beyond Wii Sports and two music games. |

First off, the Wii is the epitome of mainstream. And second, I have yet to meet a single Nintendo Wii owner (or GC, or N64) that doesn't have Super Smash Bros. We got multiple e-mails congratulating the entire company for selling those two games, to make displays for them and etc etc etc. You'd think Smash would be included in all this, but it wasn't. The Nintendo-casuals or whatever label we're slapping onto that community now didn't care about Smash Bros, so those people and the Smash fans are two different groups. You could call it anecdotal if it was only my store, but it was the entire company.
