but
really though, 76% is about what Brawl had to do here. Melee was hardly
a world beater so it didn't do anything to make Brawl look like it has
less of a chance this round, so only thing Brawl could have really done
here to make itself look bad was to not match what Melee did on

All those other games would crush. You're literally being blind on purpose if you think Melee isn't the big favorite after today's match (or after Halo 1 > 3, to be frank), because it's no longer extrapolation dictating it. It's a direct result. I'd say Brawl is looking slightly better than Melee based on this round in a vacuum. I
would just like to point out that Valkyria Chronicles was going better
in Europe than the rest of the world, and just did better overnight
than Disgaea. Valkyria Chronicles has a worse day vote than Disgaea.
Yeah people have off today, but Brawl really should be capitalizing on

VC would be doing great in a night match here. 10% better in Europe,

well...id say this is about normal for brawl. And melee underperformed a tad in its match vs morrowind. so id say brawl/melee is still a debated match (unlike the people who thought melee would destroy it after the first round stats). Also,
I still don't buy this "Wii hate" hurting Wii's all star games. Back in
Gamecube days everybody knew the PS2 had a better library, that didn't
hurt Melee. I objectively know Wii has a worse library and will
complain about it, but that won't stop me voting for Twilight Princess
(and regardless of what an "informed" gamer should know, the majority
of people voting in that Wii sucks poll think of it as a Wii game
because that's where they played it). I'd say Melee is just objectively stronger than Brawl for countless other reasons, not because "OH IT'S ON THE WII". If Brawl had come out for the Cube it wouldn't have made it noticeably stronger. --- Chex Warrior (Chex Quest) for CB2011 |

TRE do you still go to UBC? We should have lunch sometime. TP is a Wii game, games designed for a console, but changed have happened before and no one calls it the former console's game. Once SKyward Sword comes out people won't even consider TP a wii game anyway, they only do it now since the GC died in 2006. And GC wasn't hated because there was no need to fans to hate the GC.
