At
first I thought RBY was the weakest of all Pokemon generations and DPP

Nice
to see Perfect Dark doing well. I figured it would based on it being
worth about 37% on Goldeneye in 2004, a figure that was unlikely to
have changed much since then. Goldeneye was a really strong game in
2009, so naturally PD should have been a decent midcarder. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

The top tiers look great. -6 and better went perfect while -15 and better stayed above 90. The prediction percentage also faded in a fairly expected fashion. Pokemon
seems to have lost a step since BGE '09, but I'd still take Pokemon RBY
over every game except OoT and FFVII. For the record, though, I think
Gold/Silver is the best in the series! It'd be well worth buying for

do admit RBY was best for its time though... nobody had ever seen a
game like that before and it was all fresh and new. But its kinda like
saying the first Sims was the best, even though its been improved in
every single way since its release, but fans stay nostalgic about the

Fusion was only a bit under RE5 in the vote in polls. If that was
legit, DPP vs Metroid Fusion doesn't look so bad. They were both killed
by God of War 2, however considering RE5 vs ToS and ToS vs GoW, that

throughout. While the premise behind the games has remained the same, as well as the combat system, there have been a LOT of changes in the game since RBY. There have been additions of elemental types, addition of pokemon abilities, and the Special stat was split into Special ATK/DEF (the biggest change in the series, honestly). Sure, if you're just playing the game itself, the overall experience hasn't changed much. DPP/RSE would be up for debate and possibly close matches. We do know

holding up. I like Call of Duty 4 and all but I still think Perfect
Dark is one of the best games in the bracket. Oh, and i'd think that pokemon RBY Vs DPP would look more like Snake vs Raiden. DPP has it's supporters. it wouldn't get completely flattened like GH2. --- This space for rent. |
