HL2 doesn't need a big win here to beat MP. MP lost to VC last year, and although it probably would have won without Paper Mario in the poll, it wouldn't have been by a big margin. VC should be stronger than 3, but not by much. An Ulti-style blowout is fine for HL2 here.

Because I think people DID learn something last year. They learned that ToS can box out a stronger game when it's in 4-way matches without anything to LFF it.

Yeah, with a Mario and a Kingdom Hearts game in the match. Fourways are tricky that way, especially since GTA seems to do tons better in multi-option polls than one on one.

Decent prediction percentage considering how close God of War was to losing. We end up losing a -4 bracket and a few -5s and -6s but not too many. Prediction percentage falls of quite a bit at -7 before slowy fading away.

7 people fell off the Top 50. SomeGamerDude, DocJustice, Ultimaphazon, trannyscience, chriscam23, Randomcrazydude and narcoticrex did not have God of War winning the match.

It doesn't really matter in one sense, because we don't know how strong Golden Sun is. In another sense, 40% on Half-Life 2 is more or less where the GTAs were based on last contest, so the ball's in Golden Sun's court to get up to that level.

Even if GTA3 breaks 45% here (unlikely) I think it's not gonna matter much. If Dark Dawn is truly hyped on this site, Golden Sun's numbers WILL be inflated, especially against a game like GTA:SA.

I'm content with this performance. GTA is no joke, and I'm very confident that HL2 will cruise past GoW with ease now. The Prime match was always gonna be tough, but Gordon hasn't disappointed me yet.

THANK you. I'm glad somebody else said it, because I was tired of getting ganged up on.

That nintendo poll is a huge SFF-fest. But if everything is SFFing each other, you still end up having the games sort out into their appropriate pecking order, with few exceptions.

While I wasn't aware that the xtats on '09 FE were based on a huge SFF match, to make GS even moderately close to GTA:SA in strength, FE had to have its votes cut in half. And then you have to assume GS is several percent stronger than FE.

For a small GBA title that's only managed to beat a crappy platformer, that's a lot of assumptions to make.
