do hope that this is sincerely a bad sign for MGS4 for the sake of my
bracket though. The three guru brackets closest to mine differ chiefly
in that I have MGS3 winning the division and they don't. >_< --- It takes a genius to make something simple truly great. Dr. Football, you are the man! I'll take you down next contest though... |

> AC2 makes sense to me. GOW > GOW2 is the same way - GOW2 is
better but GOW was the original and had a lot more attention when it

maintain that KH/KHII is a unique example. Also, I'm not at all sure
that AC would beat ACII in a match. They may be roughly equal
indirectly, but I think GameFAQs will side with the (almost universally

the difference between AC1 vs. AC2 and GoW1 vs. GoW2/DMC1 vs. DMC3 is
that Assassin's Creed got something of a mixed reception, while God of
War was still pretty universally praised. There were problems that
needed to be fixed and AC2 fixed them. That's not really the case with

Is
it really plausible to say AC2 > AC1, though? The first one did have
to go through a vote-in to make it into the contest. It seems like the
fanbase more or less sides with the better-liked sequel, in all honesty. --- It takes a genius to make something simple truly great. Dr. Football, you are the man! I'll take you down next contest though... |

"Better in every way" thing is really overrexagerated. I enjoyed AC1
more than 2, since I didn't like the setting as much and they
overcomplified a lot of the stuff. Sure, maybe the first may have been

the thing that makes this match look even worse is that Assassin's
Creed Brotherhood (starring Ezio) just came out a couple days ago, and
this is all it can do? I was expecting at LEAST a doubling due to the

I
remember DMC1 being widely loved when it hit. It had a lot of fans and
wasn't really seen as a "flawed game that demands a sequel." Maybe DMC2
killed the third's chances at decent popularity. Anyway, my point here
is that improvements in a sequel aren't as big a deal when the original

Heh. In any case, I feel like AC1/2 is similar to FF1/4. In a direct
matchup, the latter would win for being "better" than the original, but
I'm convinced that the original will be stronger against most other

Yeah,
I use adblock on Chrome. Chrome has about all the worthwhile addons
that Firefox does, while taking up less ram and running faster. I could

I'll
check out Chrome again if it has all the stuff that improves GameFAQs
(GameFOX, text-to-image, linkification) and an app that allows me to

tried GameChrome but it just didn't feel right to me, I just liked
ChromeFAQs more. I think it was just the interface of GameChrome
bothering me for some reason. I don't remember exact reason cuz it was
over 6 months ago I tried it, but yeah. I do admit Firefox does have the advantage overall with add-ons, though. If you're an add-on fiend, Firefox is better, since Chrome just has the more popular ones. yeah, I just tried it again and I remember my biggest issue with it.
Clicking the thing on the main board page to send me to last page
expects that I have 50 posts per page but I've always had 10 posts per
page, so it sends me to the 3rd page of this topic. I'm too used to

haven't used it, but that sounds like something GameChrome should have
an option for. I'm pretty sure GameFox had one. Try checking the

confidence in Snake Eater was shattered after its match, but I'm slowly
beginning to feel better about it again. This result makes MGS4 look...
not quite as good, to say the least. If this match was ACII vs SotC do you think SotC would be winning? ACII isn't looking too strong since ICO almost has 40% on it. I'm glad I didn't pick ACII advancing any further than round 1.
