Actually screw that, there is a far more pressing issue that requires my attention. Obsessively enthusiastic about an interest=geek, not nerd. A nerd is someone who is socially inept and/or very "uncool". Does often lead to geekdom but the two are not mutually inclusive. For instance, I know someone who EV trains and whatever Pokémon, is a huge fan of anime, cosplays, but is definitely not a nerd despite his geekiness, in terms of personality and appearance he's one of the cool kids. --- Something something something ^Poorly disguised anti-caps sig |

Well it certainly hasn't done anything to prove otherwise. Don't get me wrong. I love Advance Wars. Hell, see my username. But it doesn't have a huge GameFAQs community, belongs to GameFAQs' second least popular genre, and is a mere "okay" seller. When you look at all, and I do mean all, the game's prior poll appearances it's clearly incredibly weak. If it had had to prove itself in a vote-in poll it wouldn't have gotten in. The fact that Wii Sports did is part of why I see it as probably stronger. Indeed I think the weakest entrants tend to be 13 seeds nowadays as the vote-in system helps prune the weaker entrants from the bottom 3 seeds. --- Something something something ^Poorly disguised anti-caps sig |

and Advance Wars are untested, and GTA4 is a decently strong game (all

Handheld
games in general are doing pretty good. Dissidia overperformance on
MW2, Crisis Core keeping its match with FF12 55/45. I hope that means

Golden Sun and Metroid Fusion looked great, but the others not so much. Golden Sun was always gonna be strong(you still suck for getting it taken out last year Wigs) and Metroid Fusion apparently has its series to thank. Other than that nothing much to report. MW2 was always going to fall on its face. I don't think anybody actually believed that we were going to see it even pull a doubling in that match. The
12-hour format really dampens the ASV normally, but Pokemon's didn't
