AC2(which is likely to be more popular since its like a good version of AC1) gets Ico and WW, that should be fun!

Yeah MGS4 is doing pretty much what it needs to do to stay as the favourite against MGS3.

But it also has another debatable match against GSC the next round so a slight underperformance isn't a good sign for MGS4 unless GSC drops the ball in its match.

Damn you got ALL those feathers? I was considering that, but I missed out on the "kick somebody while flying Leonardo's machine" so I couldn't get Platinum anyway.

Certainly did. It helps to print out a map. And there's more than just feathers, there's lots of gold to collect to get better gear so it's not that bad to look for them, especially when you have a map you can buy It's not like I went through all that without a FAQ. And I checked the trophies so I had an idea of what not to miss. And since the roofs weren't as bad as AC1 end-game and there were no longer frustrations like being knocked down by an escapee from the asylum and getting all the city on your ass... I went through it and it wasn't that bad actually.

Yeah, the US box is a disaster. We usually get the short-end of the stick when it comes to Japanese game boxarts. For whatever reason, there needs to be a CG character on the front of it instead of something actually nice looking.

It's not surprising. Japan are where the manga & anime stuff hit big. They simply have better artistic sense over there.
North America seems to prefer... simpler stuff. Can't say I agree with it.

Seems like Japan knows quality box art design. I really wish the US wouldn't change box art for Japanese games so often. All they really should do is make the cover in English and leave the rest alone or at least include the Japanese cover so people can swap it if they want to.

The JPN UC2 pic was funny as hell when I first saw it. I see what they were going for, with that Indiana Jones movie style, but that artwork always cracks me up.

That Japanese Uncharted 2 boxart is absolutely brilliant. I really like the Mass Effect one, too!

Another match where we have no idea where an opponent ranks, sure Diablo II is going to take this rather easily, but will it be a normal large win or a big blowout. Eternal Darkness like other games may have a hardcore fanbase, but at the same time the fanbase is really small and the majority of people probably have never heard of the game let alone played it.

Diablo II isn’t anything special, but it does have decent strength and is very capable of blowing something away. Given that Eternal Darkness is not very well known Diablo II does have a decent chance at breaking 70% in this match. There’s not much to talk about in this match since Diablo II’s path is solid so it could get pretty much anything here and it still wouldn’t have a chance next round.

Some number crunching...

Based on the vote-in poll Assassin's Creed would get 55.44% on Devil May Cry. We also have to remember that DMC, a night game faced KotOR, a day game while the reverse is true for this match. Let's assume that in a 24 hour match KotOR would have finished with 60% and MGS4 would have finished with 62%. This suggests that MGS4 would get 57.66% on KotOR meaning it should get 55.28% on Diablo II.

Also comparing what Diablo II and MGS2 got on FFX (after adjusting for KH LFF) MGS4 is now expected to get about 48.88% on MGS2.
