The Orphan Yeah this. Gamefaqs is just a bunch of Nintendo and SquareEnix dickriders. Sometimes I wonder why they even bother with these kind of polls when they know it's gonna come down to some Mario game (probably 64, or SMB3) Zelda (Ocarina of Time, or Link to the Past) or Final Fantasy VII. They should do a poll for a specific year when none of those games had a release. Gamefaqs would be in chaos. Oh SRK. is a DS game though and most fans of that are more likely ot be
nintendo fans. MvC has A LOT of marvel comic fans on it's side as well
as HD console frat boys. MvC2 is a dreamcast game, yet mario is choking here. It goes to show how incredibly weak the Wii is here. I don't know about MvC2 being stronger than SFIV. Would anyone take
MvC2 if it wasn't released via 360/PS3 DLC last year? Before that, it
was just a super rare Dreamcast and PS2 game, and I'm not sure how much

SF4 does have a better chance next roudn that I originally thought,
though. And if it beats Uncharted, Halo is easy to anti vote with

if it really has sold millions via DLC, then I guess it can boost quite
a bit! Very much doubt that, though. I doubt even the best selling DLC

If
SFIV beats Uncharted, I'll have to give it a great shot against Halo.
Street Fighter is old school and respected enough to actually take

is bigger right now than MVC2, but MVC2 was at a time when fighters
really mattered. SF4 would rock MVC2 on SRK but amongst a larger

Marvel vs. Capcom just has a kind of widespread appeal that no other fighting game has (except Smash). I mean, it has MARVEL! +plus characters from various games. Maybe MvC2 is more popular than given credit for? This was one of my gut picks when first filling out the bracket....then I changed it to NSMB Wii, never feeling confident. Had this been a night match there's a good chance I would've stuck with MvC2. Of course, I had F-Zero GX and Psychonauts winning on my "gut" picks, but it was only because I had not heard of Batman: Arkham Asylum or Dragon Age due to being outside of VG circles for a couple years. =P Of those five matches I've missed so far, four of them I would have gotten right on my "gut" bracket (the one I missed regardless being Disgaea vs. VC). --- "Ah, a party!
