It looks out of whack because there' so many new IP's and different games of different genres....but NSMBWii is the only nintendo game on there. And it performed woefully.

Not sure who has the advantage here- we're already at the height of the weekend day vote, so it should only get better for MvC2 from here on out. It's actually gained percentage every update so far, so it's clear Mario took the early vote too.

The problem is that it STILL hasn't cut. I'm losing any faith in a come back at this point.

Geolocation trends are going to favor MvC2 very heavily. Europe is at 59% for Mario, while MvC2 is winning in the US and South America, and winning with 58% in California.

Given that the continent poll was on a weekend, these trends should be decent enough. The only thing is that it suffers from the fact that a small minority (2.03% of all voters) voted for the wrong option. I had thought about trying to readjust the hourly trends to be a little more accurate, although I do have adjusted trends sitting around somewhere.

There are at least half a dozen snubbed GameCube games that should have made the cut before Luigi's Mansion.

Pretty much every game i expected to be in was in apart from Luigis mansion. I mean Prime 2 probably didn't get as many votes because of Priem 1 and Pikmin has a tiny fanbase. Eternal Darkness is on there so is RE4, Symphonia and obviously Zelda/Mario/Smash/Metroid. Other games are probably too niche. But LM was a launch title...friggin Luigi man.

Luigis Mansion was total garbage that people only played because it was the "mario" title available at launch. I don't see how anyone likes that game, let alone wants it in a contest like this.

Of course. I bought it and Rogue Leader when I got my Gamecube. At least Rogue Leader was kinda fun, but Luigis mansion was just a disappointment
