The Chrono name isn't as big as it should be because CT is only one game. It wouldn't be any bigger if CC simply didn't exist. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

CT
probably triples any Dragon Quest game on this site. So, for DQVIII to
win, we'd need a gap between CT and CC larger than between OOT and MM,
or between FFVII and FFXII. Although that's not out of the realm of

anyone wishes to delude themselves, that is fine. I will be the
happiest bastard in the world if DQVIII wins as everyone should know I
love DQ to death, but it really isn't happening. But if I am wrong,

This is part 944 of the stats topic Greyfield. It isn't for not discussing matches, sorry. I'm not against debating and discussing matches, I've just heard the same exact arguments about the CC/DQ match for a solid ****ing week, and nobody's opinion has ever changed. The
battle stats are definitely borken, they're not even consistent with
themselves. If you add up the total number of (Banked)+(Option
1)+(Option 2) brackets, you get a different number in the
21000-23000ish range for each match. But if you add up the number of
brackets in any of the 3 other tables, you get somewhere around ~46,400. --- If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Then try to find someone whose life has given them vodka. |

should keep falling for a good while. BG2 should make a nice recovery
here, not enough to make it debatable or anything, but it should end up

have very little knowledge of CC.... what does it have in common with
CT aside from I thinK Magus is supposed to be in it somehow? just curious if it's like... similar stylistically so people who like CT should theoretically like CC or something CT and CC are set in the same world, and are both based on time/dimension travel. Stylistically, I'd say CC is the antithesis of CT in many ways- CT is incredibly optimistic while CC is depressing and pessimistic about our struggle to defy fate, which is what both games are about. CT has a traditional ATB battle system that works very well, while CC's battle system is pretty different and bad. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

Have we ever had a game with 59% in the first half-hour end up losing?
Or better yet, have we ever had a game lose 9% between 30-minutes in

That
was a big percentage slice off of SoA's margin of safety. Meanwhile in
Crono/Vincent......Crono actually gained percentage over those 10
minutes. New projection, as of 0:50- Skies of Arcadia wins with 50.59%. Baldur's Gate has picked almost 1% on Vincent's pace in those 10 minutes. Still don't think it has any real chance of winning, but I could see Skies falling to 52% by the end of the match. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |
