I have a question...

For those of you concerned about the morning vote, why would you consider TWEWY to take that vote when North America is already leaning DR via the night vote?

Yes, because demographics change with the time. If anything DR taking the night vote and TWEWY's prior appearances make it more of a day animal.

Because it made no sense for DR to take the night vote like it is, so TWEWY taking the morning vote would be right in line with the whole "not making any sense" trend of the match!

I can't believe its this close.

I can't believe its this close.

Seriously I was kinda upset I was gonna miss the first hour and it would be over by now but then I look and oh my god its so close.

DR finally comes up with some gains with some "solid" updates.

Shouldn't be hard to gain when your opponent isn't pulling in many per update

dude, it made complete sense for that to happen.

it's really strange that it's not.

The alternate explanation is that they have the same vote trends, but DR's more popular ever so slightly.

In any case, I'm going to bed. Today's been an all-around crappy day.

There was no basis for him to be that pompous and arrogant, and this proves it so far. You don't create statistics that don't exist just because you want to be right.

TWEWY's US percentage is heavily propped up by the California vote at the moment, the one part still awake to vote at the start of the match. Granted, it may be losing in the rest of the US because they're asleep, but it isn't looking good. This could easily be Street Fighter trends.

Going back to what was discussed at the end of the last topic, if people didn't try to overanalyze these contests with statistics based on things that may end up having no bearing it'd be a lot more fun generally.

It scares me to think that barely beating a handheld rpg is from a boost, and without the boost it couldn't even do that

It's been back and forth. TWEWY had a very slim lead through the first hour, DR has been leading the match for the longest period of time at this point. It's currently the best lead either game has had so far.

Seriously. This speaks good things about the state of RPGfaqs as a whole.

You know what's considered an RPG.

I got TWEWY in battle bracket.

So this is pretty much gonna kill me if it loses.
Ultimaphazon | Posted 11/10/2010 1:05:36 AM | message detail
So far I have banked on two matches: this one and WC3/Morrowind. My score may not be all that great (20,000 and some), since I screwed up some other matches in my battle, but at least I pick the close matches to bank on.

Not if it can't get a lead and build it here. And soon.

The sun comes up in 3 hours, and something tells me that will be the death knell for TWEWY.
