For
what it's worth P4 made the last game contest and got 16,000~ votes
despite being in the same match as SFIV, GTAIV and Brawl. It was only 7
votes behind SFIV in the end too. P3 didn't even make it into that
contest or show up in the vote-ins from what I remember. I still doubt
P4 is a "tier" above P3, but I think it's safe to say it's stronger

Did you just say that people who didn't play a game would vote for it despite loving its opponent? no, thats not what i said at all what im saying is the persona games, hell most games in a series, are closely tied together. Maybe not Final Fantasies, but they are practically completely different games with the same title. But most RPGs, shooters, adventure games, etc (especially niche ones) will have fans that vote in favorite of the SERIES, and not the individual game. I loved Civ 2, and 4 (and 5 so far needs patches but is still a solid foundation for a good game). Civ 3 i thought was horrible compared to civ 2. But if civ 3 was in a contest and im voting, im voting because the civ series in general is awesome. There are obvious exceptions for me (for example i hate heroes of might and magic 4 but HoMM2 and 3 are in my top 20 games of all time). vs P4 would be a really fun match. I think P4 would win since more
people seemed to like it and more people have played it. It would
probably be pretty close though. Some people are picky with Persona 3
though. There are some that would vote P4 over P3, but would vote

I think the poeple who like FES will just vote reggular P3 by extension. The same way that people who love MGS3: Subsistance will still vote Snake Eater, even though it was inferior. --- A pro isn't someone who sacrifices himself for his job. think P4 wins comfortably if the poll was restricted to people who
played the games. But there's obviously a decent number of people who
vote that haven't played either game. I just wonder if it would be
