Well it's got more user ratings, better user ratings, better GotY poll results, and Neku probably beats Frank West. Plus the results so far favor RPGs over casual games.

The only thing I can seem to find in favor of Dead Rising is that it's more night-oriented while TWEWY is more day-oriented, but it's not going to be a huge trends difference.

And this is just anecdotal evidence, but I feel like people just like TWEWY more than Dead Rising. Dead Rising definitely has fans, but it did get mixed reviews when it came out. TWEWY got almost universal praise.

The only thing I can seem to find in favor of Dead Rising is that it's more night-oriented while TWEWY is more day-oriented, but it's not going to be a huge trends difference.

Nothing really stood out in Frank West's trends besides the ASV and one match where Frank West clearly had a bad board vote.

As for TWEWY, we have these matches:

Neku beasted the Asia vote, but Ganondorf was in that match and even Frog did worse in Asia than the overall result. Neku also does about 5% better in Oceania, about 1.3% better in Europe, and about 1% worse in North America.

In the case of Sho, he only did slightly worse in North America and Europe, about 2.6% better in Asia, and about 2.4% better in Oceania.

For Dead Rising, there is this poll:

About 3% better in Europe, 4% worse in Asia, and slightly worse in North America and Oceania. Granted, that's Dead Rising 2, but it should have the same trends as Dead Rising.

Because there isn't really anything logical to debate about that match. It all boils down to how much faith you put into "LOL World of Warcraft."

After the Arthas match, I don't see how anyone can realistically see World of Warcraft ever getting 50% in a match here, especially something not anti voted (which is probably only reason it could beat GTA, since GTA has anti votes as well). Trust me, WoW will be seeing the level of Anti Votes Pokemon did from 2002-2004.

I've already switched to TWEWY in both my Oracle and Battle. Siding with the RPG in debated matches seems to be a good practice so far.

I'm sure it was probably crushed by the weight of a lot of SFF, but I think World of Warcraft could pull off a win. Animal Crossing benefits from a day match, but I don't think that's going to be enough.

The one thing I can see going for WoW though is that it has more of a case for true "Game of the Decade" than most entrants in this contest, if you view it from importance, being a pop culture phenomenon, being the most played game of this decade, etc etc. It could get some votes if people vote like that. I guess its probably the favorite against Animal Crossing, though I still think AC can win that. I don't think theres any way its getting past Paper Mario though.

And I still might bank on AC/WoW (assuming I'm carrying a lot of points into that match). WoW could be much more hated than Halo in a 1v1, and while Animal Crossing doesn't have the name that SUPER MARIO Sunshine does, it should also have none of the hatred. AC is pretty liked across the board and could easily benefit from WoW hatred.

People forget that WoW actually did really well last contest. Got close to Oblivion, beat out Halo 2 and Tales of Symphonia. I don't buy that it's going to plummet in strength by switching formats.

If your opponent is weak enough, you can break 50%. This applies whether you get heavily anti-voted or are just plain horribly weak. The question isn't "Can WoW break 50%?" it's "Is Animal Crossing weak enough to let WoW break 50%?".

I can't see WoW anti-voting being significantly worse than Halo anti-voting. Halo 3 already beat SMS, which would easily beat Animal Crossing. WoW beat Halo 2 last year.

I don't know, it just seems almost open-and-shut to me.

Anti votes are a non factor in 4 ways. Can you tell me a game that would get more hate and anti votes in a 1v1 format than WoW? I can't think of one. Its got the Activision factor AND people like to hate on MMOs.

I've switched my Oracle to TWEWY. I'm going to bank in the Battle Challenge though. I can't shake the feeling that we are going to see another upset soon, so I'd rather play it safe there. There's no way I'm getting anywhere near the Battle leaderboard, so I might as well do my best to beat Bacon.

I might not bank on the TWEWY match because from what I have found, the intangibles seem to favor TWEWY here. Now for Skies of Arcadia, that's a match which kind of scares me a bit more because I can't seem to find a single thing that could convince me that it will definitely beat Baldur's Gate 2. If I somehow get past TWEWY and Skies of Arcadia without losing my streak, I feel pretty confident in continuing my streak up until Halo 3/Halo (which I might bank). If I bank on Halo 3/Halo, I would be banking 86100 points.
