P3 has a significant Europe advantage and a slight NA advantage.

But then again, it's 20 minutes in, so what do trends really mean?

Civ needs to make its move because the late night is not going to be kind to it.

I fully expect Civ to cut quite a bit when the morning comes. USA in general seems to like it a lot more than most. If it can stay in range after the night, it may have a shot.

Too busy to do projections here, although there probably aren't any worthwhile ones. Looking at past graphs it appears Civilization IV probably gains from what it has at the end of the Power Hour.

Going by the game contest last year, Civ had 9.05% at the 0:40 mark, and it had 10.37% by Noon.

It should be interesting to see if it goes up that significantly in a 1v1 match.

People really need to stop with this whole "Europe has game X with 60%, it will win the night"-BS at the start of a night match. It's 5AM/6AM for most voters in Europe. The number of votes from Europe this early is not nearly enough to make any decisive claims on how the rest of the match will turn out in Europe.

Persona and Civ are both heavily night-oriented, so this is an even fight. As long as Persona is consistently ahead, things should be fine for it.

I don't think we've had any examples of matches a half an hour in where its like 65% in Europe already and it flips. It might not be as dominant later on, but Persona WILL win Europe significantly.

god, the weather is playing havoc with my internet connection tonight. It took me a half hour to get to the updater between the massive amounts of lag, and my modem repeatedly crashing. But I'm crossing my fingers hoping P3 increases the lead more decisively soon.

The gap should narrow, but Persona is still going to dominate Europe.

People always over-analyze geolocation when it comes to predicting day match trends. Geolocation just isn't very good for that. For night matches however, they give you a pretty good idea of how the overnight vote will unfold.

Persona is already leading in every single region, so even if the percentage in europe drops, there shouldn't be any lead changing over the course of the night.
