I can't speak for the person you quoted, but Dead Space was spoken of very highly pretty much everywhere. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it wasn't turbo-fodder.

I know it's a GotY poll and all, but seriously - it lost to Guitar Hero World Tour, of all games. That's terrible no matter how you slice it!

The only explanation I can think of for its performance here: the hilariously terrible boxart. It probably received some joke support as a result.

It is a gimmie still, but everyone else in the division is basically going "I can take out my opponent in a more impressive fashion than you" while FFX and FFIX just shrug and go about their merrily way.

The top tiers are really starting to separate themselves from the lower tiers. The overall prediction percentage was below 80 but the top 5 tiers manage to break 90. The last perfect still stands tall. Once again we lost exactly one -1 bracket.

Only 1 person fell off the Top 50. Blitzball1080 did not have San Andreas beating Dead Space.

Yeah, this'll end up about 60-40, like expected. DMC is doing better in Europe (42%), and winning in Asia. Oh well

When DST ends and the clocks go back one hour (which will happen soon), the match is extended by hour. The 11 hour match occurs when we go from standard time into DST and the clocks go forward one hour, resulting in an 11 hour match. The only time we had an 11 hour match was back on 3/14/2010.


We are going to need the extra hour for this match, because vote totals are already pretty bad after 5 minutes. The extra hour also extends the night vote by one hour, which will help out whatever game gets the night vote. Which should be DMC.

Persona 3/Civilization IV! My bracket has Civilization winning, but I'm feeling uneasy about it.

After that, though? Not planning to bank for a long time! My next scheduled bank at the moment is BioShock/Kingdom Hearts II, but I'm not totally sure what my plan is yet.
