Golden Sun should suck at night, right?

Yeah I think GTA is in trouble. I find it funny how this parallels last year, with the first GTA game to take the field impressing (not to mention Metroid Prime and LittleBigPlanet were both games that received loads of critical acclaim when they were released and fell off in about a year or two), then the next one losing when everything is trending in its favor. Not to mention two GTA games losing to GBA games (lol it almost rhymes).

I doubt Golden Sun beats any Pokemon game in this contest. That just seems nuts to me. Then again, Metroid Fusion got 45% against a Pokemon game and I wouldn't be too shocked to see GS beat THAT, so what do I know?

Three updates in, and Golden Sun still isn't budging. Stick a fork in San Andreas, it's done.

This also bodes really well for Fire Emblem, I'd say - can't see Tony pulling off the upset at this point.

But yeah, I mean I know GotY polls aren't super reliable but I mean, I can't say I'm surprised to see a game that got doubled by SO3 in a GOTY poll get doubling by Golden Sun >_> Mother 3 holding up was still number one for me

Most of us thought it would be low 60s, so I don't see how it being high 60s is that big a shock. Something like No Mercy was a much bigger shock, in my opinion. Even the people who thought it would lose didnt think it would get nearly tripled.

You can argue a case for San Andreas by theorizing that it's a bit stronger than GTAIII and that Ratchet and Clank is notably weaker than LittleBigPlanet, which GTAIII beat in the low 60s. Both those assumptions are plausible, but Golden Sun will have the day match advantage and a launch game. It's the big favorite now, that's for sure.

Granted, this could be over 70% by the end of it. Damn. That is pretty crazy
