Vesperia actually did way better in North America than anywhere else in its GotY poll. It's a 360 game, so it'll have day vote trends, liek Symphonia.

Problem is Borderlands probably also has day trends.

Glad I banked, even if Borderlands is pulling away now. First 8/9 match I've called right (Mother 3/DMc3 doesn't count).

I didn't bank on this match, although I did bank on WC3/Morrowind (another 8/9 match). Good thing I banked WC3/Morrowind, because that one was actually a very close one. I felt that Borderlands had a better chance at beating Vesperia than WC3 had of beating Morrowind (or the other way around). If I do bank later on, it'll be for Persona 3/Civilization IV (a match that worries me more than this one).

Really high prediction percentages this time as you would expect. The perfects and -1s manage to go perfect this time. I was hoping the -2s could pull it off as well but they end up one bracket short. The -11s and better manage to stay above 90 which is pretty good.

Only one person fell off the Top 50 today. TangND did not have FFX beating Viewtiful Joe.

I know nothing about Borderlands's trends, but I'm not even sure Vesperia even gets a day vote. Fable proved the whole "Xbox ASV" wrong as it struggled with TF2 in the ASV. It's mostly Xbox 360 shooters that have the good ASV.

Borderlands probably had the bracket vote, Vesperia had the board vote and they cancelled each other out. That'd be my guess anyway. But the fact that Vesperia led for the first minute would indicate it had the board vote.

Wait I thought Persona 3 > Civ4 was clear-cut? I mean I really like Civ4 and it deserves much better than a freaking 10 seed but come on. This site does not care about it AT ALL. It might end up being something like GH2 or WWF No Mercy, for heaven's sake.
