Nope. KH2 isn't that far behind RE4, and RE4 would smack MW2.

Incidentally, that 57% prediction percentage for KH2. Looks like the board might own the rest of the site when it comes to the next round or so!

I think both these games are weak. I mean come on, Dissidia wasn't all that well received and it's on the 7th gen system which GameFAQs cares least about. Not to mention MW2 isn't so highly revered at most sites. It did well in the GotD poll, sure, but it could've fallen off since then. Or maybe not.

The way i see it, COD4>MW2>Halo 3>Halo2

MW2 should break 40% on KHII, COD4 definitely would. Dissidia's strength in this poll comes from the fact that it's a FF all star game. Lets be honest..PSP isn't a popular system.

57% for KH2 isn't that shocking it is Halo after all, Halo 3 had 81% against SMS.

Not sure what Halo getting 80% on Ninja Gaiden was all about, maybe some people remembered Hayabusa beating Master Chief.

Have Portal and wouldn't change it now, but the first Square big gun just looked really good, so that could be a point in FFXII's favor. Of course, FFXII is not a big gun itself, so who knows.

FFXII beat that big gun in GOTY once upon a time...!

I'm not sure I'd take Crisis Core over Dissidia though, but that's a big "who knows and who cares" one there. ZACK WITH A BUSTER SWORD isn't going to put Crisis Core over FFXII if the entire cast of FF against generic soldier doesn't put Dissidia over MW2.

Plus, I think people are overrating how "hated" FFXII is. It still got in with a 6 seed. It's certainly not at the FFX-2 level of hate, which didn't even make the contest (and maybe even could beat MW2 since I might take FFX-2 > Dissidia!). I never liked Crisis Core's chances, and this doesn't do anything to change it.

(FFXII gon' beat Portal and ME1, too)

Let's give a hearty LOL Western games to this match though

really? this is a very impressive performance from dissidia. How many played the game? hell how many even own a PSP on this site? getting almost 44% on one of the most played games this gen isn't "weak" especially for a handheld. If this was Crisis Core, MW2 would be in trouble.

That's my point. 44% against an FPS? dissidia would have wiped the fLOOR with MW2 if it was on consoles. It's a All star FF game..regardless of what system it's on it will Get a lot of votes. PSPS is still a weak system. The weaktest this gen by far.

FFX needs to prove itself against a real game, not... *looks* Viewtiful Joe. 80% would be nice though. FFX won't get a real barometer for quite a while though.. maybe Golden Sun/GTA, but in reality it won't be until the RE4 match.

Analysis

After a decent performance from Kingdom Hearts II it’s time to see what the original can do here. Kingdom Hearts should have no problems winning this match and while I believe that most Castlevania games have some strength they pretty much pale in comparison to Symphony of the Night.

In my opinion I feel that Dawn of Sorrow has a great case at being the second strongest Castlevania game. Despite being a DS game it was well received by the fans and taking a quick look back all of the recent games of the series have been released on handhelds. In the last game contest we also saw Castlevania III crashing and burning suggesting that the classic Castlevania games have been forgotten; either that or Dawn of Sorrow is in line for a huge beating.

In the previous contest Kingdom Hearts was only a step below Final Fantasy X and I’m sort of surprised that very few people pulled the trigger against Twilight Princess with either Kingdom Hearts game. In fact Super Mario Galaxy is supported by twice as many brackets than the combine Kingdom Hearts games. I understand the poor performances of the Kingdom Hearts characters in the last contest, but we have a 90/10 split for something that may be a 52/48 match.

As much as I think Dawn of Sorrow may be the second strongest Castlevania game Kingdom Hearts would have no problem winning over Symphony of the Night. Breaking 70% here is very likely and should Dawn of Sorrow be around or even weaker than Castlevania III we could see this hitting 80%, especially with this being a day match.
