Lol third-tier Nintendo titles. Confession: I have never played a Pokemon game and don't want to anytime soon. Also, Metroid Fusion is my favorite Metroid game aside from Super Metroid and Prime, which both obliterate it. --- I have no idea how Metroid: Other M got any scores lower than 60%. |

GSC
is aided by the fact that it has two matches and 45 days to build steam
before it hits MM. If this was a first round match, I'd have probably

was already the favorite after GTAIII impressing. I just can't imagine
RSE closing in on that gap, as GTAIV shouldn't be THAT much weaker than
GTAIII and may even be stronger. Also is this supposed to be a good sign for Metroid Prime against Okami/GoW/HL2? --- I have no idea how Metroid: Other M got any scores lower than 60%. |

I'm not sure what the Oracle consensus was, but I saw at least a few doublings+ (I went with 65%). It's really hard to argue that Metroid Fusion has hidden strength after seeing how both Prime and Super didn't exactly do well last year. Glad I got talked into switching to GTA4 at the last minute! Also makes me feel better about taking MM over GSC! Because as impressive as RBY, Pikachu, Charizard, and Missingno have been, the other games and non-RBY Pokemon haven't been nearly as impressive. GSC did fine last contest, but it's not this huge contender to the point where it can crush MGS3/4 like a lot of people are taking. The board is letting Pokefear overrate GSC's strength. I mean we saw Lucario bomb. We saw D/P do okay
last year. We saw Fusion put up a fight against RE5 in the vote-ins. We
saw RE5 get 48% on Tales of Symphonia. Fusion putting up a fight here
too is not something that is out of the blue. I was alittle worried

The
#1 thing I'm regretting right now is "betting against the casual games
that had seeding disadvantages". It looks like it'll only work for
Gears of War at this rate. Fortunately only ToS > GoW is all that
bad. So I didn't pick SA2/SFIV > UC2, SMS > Halo 3, or GS > SA, but...yeah. Stupid fact: At Gamerankings Metroid Fusion has 92% while Pokemon DP has 84%. Clearly this site is Pokecrazy (not that I mind this result, lol third-tier Nintendo titles). To be fair Metroid Fusion is a first-tier Nintendo handheld game (this assuming that Pokemon RBY/GSC and Link's Awakening are GOD-tier), and Pokemon DP might as well be a second-tier, but whatever. Oh yeah how did DPP outseed GSC? And Metroid Fusion is one of the best handheld games ever guys. Seriously. --- I have no idea how Metroid: Other M got any scores lower than 60%. |
