I pretty much assume that somebody has that covered better than I do. My elite 8 look like this:

Fallout 3>HL2
SSBM>Z:TP
FFX>RE4
MGS4>GSC

Aside from taking Half Life 2 up to the quarter finals, I don't see anything else in my bracket that's really an upset and would give me an edge if I got it right. Like I said, my bracket is screwed.

And for those people who are making comments about my SA2/SMS picks, that's not necessary. I assumed Halo would tank, end of story. There's no need to harp on it, I've already spent enough time beating myself over the head about it.

Nah, don't worry about it. You lost a total of 10 points on the SA2 and SMS picks. Considering this bracket can reward up to 448 points, you're still in a decent position to get on the leaderboard. Within the guru, both Melee and MGS4 are upset picks, so if those pan out for you and the rest of the bracket goes your way, you might be fine.

Ouch. Everyone across the board got killed on this one. The perfects and -1s actually managed to do slightly better than the tiers just below them. It's been probable for a while now but I think this defintely means most if not all of those 0 brackets aren't real ones. I can't see 43 out of 44 of them getting the match "right" as being right if they were all real.

Yeah, but that does jack squat for my battle picks :P that means that I gain no ground, especially since I just lost a 6-game streak on that last match.

Speaking of toss-up matches though, does anybody have any information about No Mercy? There are a few polls for FE, but I can't find anything about the wrestling game.

Grand Kirby is a horrible user.

Whew! Morrowind really helped my bracket there - I'm starting to have much better luck with debatable matches. Hopefully Pokemon Emerald pulls through for me as well! (FE/WWF is a win-win, though; if FE wins, I get another point. If WWF wins, that's a victory for B8!)

Sadly though, Conker is doing way worse than I expected here. It's too bad - I've never played it, but it looks like a blast.

My guess is people were afraid of the power of cult JRPGs. I thought it was a pretty easy win, but it seemed a lot of people were uncomfortable with the matchup, since action games aren't very strong, by and large.

So uh... Perfect Dark has gone down in % every single update so far. I wonder if this is some kind of record. Well, maybe L Block did it too.

WC3 tried to make a push toward the end, but nothing. That 5:00 hour is really what won the match for Morrowind there. Easily the best hour for either side and by a wide margin.
