about Paper Mario, I don't get why Paper Mario 2 is such a massive
favorite over Gears of War. I took Gears of War there and never even

HL2 should be fine. MP looked really impressive when it was at 80%, but at 73%, it was just a normal performance. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

HL2 should
blow out its opponent tomorrow. After that, I expect much less
impressive victories over GTA and GoW. As long as it gets through those

yeah I'm not confident in TTYD either because it's a freaking Gamecube
exclusive sequel and I've already gotten burned by picking a lesser
Mario game against a popular XBox FPS so actually I am regretting that

have to at least give HL2 a chance before writing it off. I feel just
fine about its chances to take the division right now. everything in
the division has looked good and it's setting up to be an awesome round

considered Paper Mario 2. I don't think much of Gears of War's strength. The Paper Mario series should have fairly solid strength- probably stronger than Sunshine, and Halo 3 should be stronger than Gears of War. I'd be a lot more confident in Paper Mario 1 in that position, but that's probably just due to personal preferences- I really like Paper Mario, and don't think much of Thousand Year Door. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

Paper Mario 2, I never heard much talk about it outside of it not
living up to the first game, so I assumed it was just a lot weaker than

Either way here's hoping HL2 hits close to 80% so the Fallout camp starts to get nervous! I'm expecting about 80% and I'm one of the biggest Fallout supporters here. considered Paper Mario 2. I originally was going to bank on TTYD/Gears, but I've steadily become more confident in Mario. Halo 3 didn't beat Mario Sunshine by an especially large margin, and not only is Gears going to be significantly weaker than H3, Paper Mario: TTYD could very well be stronger than Sunshine. It was commercially successful in its own right - it sold over a million copies in the US alone, even though the GameCube was basically dead at that point - and unlike Sunshine, PM has received virtually no hate. --- CURRENT GOTY SCORE: 10 Aww yeah, GTA3! |

There's no such thing as Valve SFF, if the game was in the orange box maybe then. Are you serious? Of course there's Valve SFF. There's a Valve fanbase, so there will be SFF. Although, the Valve fanbase may not "fall in line" as much as the Nintendo fanbase. Can't

Sweet, GTA3 looks like it's got this one under control. So what's the general consensus based on the last couple of days? I'm guessing we all think ToS is boned. and Okami should beat MM9 easily? it's
all about NMH vs. SO3! Prime will always be the fave until it's

think we can rule out Okami > Prime. It looked good, but not THAT
good. What we've seen the last few days is that the bottom half of this
division is wide open between HL2 and GoW and the winner has a great
