A = Strongest Character
B = Character Weaker than A
C = Character Weaker than B
To figure out a character's Xsts Percentage ---> [(CvB)(BvA)]/50 = CvA
To compare how C would do against B ---> [(CvA)/(BvA)]*50 = CvB
To figure out how B would do against A ---> [(CvA)/(CvB)]*50 = BvA

SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense.

Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. See above for a watered down explanation for how the stats are calculated.

Noble Nine - Link, Cloud, Solid Snake, Sephiroth, Mario, Crono, Sonic, Samus and Mega Man.

Because it will be. People love GTA. GTA3 is probably the weakest GTA, but I'd be surprised if LBP broke 40%. Maybe if LBP2 came out and people loved that game. A lot of people that played LBP didn't even like it because of how floaty it is.

It already had a chance. Borderlands probably doesn't do very well, but I say it's unlikely. Yesterday doesn't really mean much anyway. RE5 is just that disliked.

Borderlands beats Vesperia easily; Symphonia seems to be the only game with any hint of popularity here, and Borderlands has done alright in its polls; barely losing to Dragon Age, and Claptrap not getting annihilated by Zidane.

Honestly, there's nothing to suggest this means GoW will easily beat ToS, as shown in the last topic. GoW 2010 is right now only at about 52% on 2009 GoW, which lost to ToS. Now admittedly this assumes ToS is as stable as GoW and L4D proved to be, but unless that turns out to be a bommb, GoW is not impressing here.

Still taking GoW mind, but it's doing almost exactly as well as it was projected to on L4D. Everyone's really overreacting to this. I know, lol 4way xstats, but GoW is doing only 1.5% better than expected. If ToS has increased in strength in a 1 on 1 format by the same amount, it'll still win, and it's not a hard amount to achieve.

I'm not sure where you get the impression that people didn't love LBP. It's got an 8.9 rating from over 2000 users here on GameFAQs, which is a lot more than GTA3 can say. I'm sticking with LBP and if I get it wrong, my battle entry is pretty much dead. Stupid MM9....

Probably going to bank on No Mercy/Fire Emblem. I'm not confident in the winner, and a streak of 14 isn't too shabby. I would go for longer, but the thing is that RSE/GTA4 is 4 matches later, and I'm not at all confident about that one either. The difference between a streak of 14 and 18 isn't worth the risk of losing the 14, and the difference between a streak of 14 plus a streak of 15 and one streak of 30.....well it might be worth it, but I'm playing somewhat conservatively for now.
