More Heroes is looking quite a bit better now... but even still, this
does seem to indicate that Prime/Okami will be close! After all, I'd
take NMH over Star Ocean 3 without a second thought - I've heard some
people mention that NMH was a flash-in-the-pan game, but I never got
that vibe at all. It's still held in pretty high esteem amongst Wii
gamers... SO3 fits the "flash-in-the-pan" description far more, if you

For
the record (although I'm sure it's been mentioned already), Okami was
also released on Wii and probably outsold NMH on that console alone.
NMH bombed really hard at stores, but Travis has an appealing look and
name. It's not hard to believe that he'd be a more popular voting

SO3 is a PS2 RPG. that's a lot different than the PS1 RPGs that got to ride FF7's coattails. that said, I don't think it's far removed from LOD. that Prime poll makes me think Halo's gonna butcher UC2 -- but then again, watching DMC3 suck hard makes me think Halo didn't really do anything special against Ninja Gaiden. so whatever. --- xyzzy |

got rocked in the 2007 GOTY but I've come to realize just how stacked
that year is. still, it didn't even come close to COD4 or Galaxy or

NMH bombed really hard at stores That's not really true. The game wasn't a hit by any means, but it sold okay in the states, and actually did far better than expected in Europe. Japan was the only territory where it outright flopped. I guess it was silly to say I'd take NMH "without a second thought," because Star Ocean 3 could very well be stronger; but even still, if the two ever have a match, I'd go with NMH. It just seems to have a bigger fanbase than SO3, which I had never even heard of prior to this contest. And for what it's worth, the match picture would almost be as lopsided as Mother 3/DMC3 - NMH has one of the best boxarts around, while SO3's is a bloody eyesore! --- CURRENT GOTY SCORE: 7/11 Next choice: Tales of Symphonia > Resident Evil 5 |

That means God of War 2 can potentially be a fair bit weaker than God of War 1. is really falling apart with the ASV here. It had 73.10% at the start

think MvC2 has a definite shot now. We just saw SFIV beat a big-name
platformer, and we just saw Mario Sunshine prove that not all things

only match pic out of those that I'm a bit interested about is the
Warcraft 3 box art, since it has two different box arts... one with
Thrall, and one with Arthas. I think it'll be interesting to not have
to deal with Arthas' mug in the pic, since it might remind people of
