Well,
SF4 had, you know, a really popular fighting game in the poll with it
against Persona 4. It could be legit decently strong even before Super,

match is wrapped up. No ASV can save Sonic after this bad a start,
especially when SFIV's US percentage nearly matches its overall one. Ah
well, it may have cost me everything (even earlier than that blasted

And Ulti brags a lot about getting the most points in a contest when ****ing Palmer has done the same thing. Though I will give Ulti credit for making the genius decision to change "Fun Entry" to "Contest Entry." If you're saying GTAIV is strong enough to SFF SFIV, than I don't even know what to say. Why would the most hated mainstream GTA game (among GTA fans, not critic$) be strong while the GTA games everyone loves are so pathetic? But I do agree that match was screwy, just for different reasons though. course system LFF exists. It's obvious. Games that are on the same
system are more likely to have been played by the same people. For some
systems (N64, GC), this matters a lot, because the selection on those
systems was small. For other systems (PS2, most modern systems), it
matters very little, because the selection was large and/or there were

long was SFIV out when it made the 2009 bracket? Like, a month or two,
right? Wasn't Melee really damn weak at the start and got much, much
better with age? That's a trend with fighting games, right? I mean I love Persona 4 enough to have spirited discussions about Kanji's sexuality EVERY DAY, but P4 clearly has a solid fanbase that will love it no matter what, and the Street Fighter games develop their fanbases over time. System
LFF exists, but to act like it's a significant factor for something
like the PS3 or the 360 is pretty silly. For something like the N64
where everybody played Mario 64, OoT, GoldenEye, and Mario Kart 64, I
can believe it, because the system had virtually no major library. For the PS3 and the 360 though? That's pretty minor stuff. --- "Stay with me until the end. Please." "Not until the end. Always." |
