drop of almost a percent this time, with an update in the 58-59% range.

Snake
in the MGS games can be a bad character at times. He's a bitter loner
in 1 and a bitter old guy in 4. Dude's got some issues. I know he has

So we can't take anything out of this result with confidence. A higher % would've given me more faith in Uncharted getting past SMS/Halo however. Still not sold it will win that. Honestly,
I'll go ahead and say the only thing that concerns me about SA2/SFIV is
Brawl. Nobody really seems to take it seriously, but I have concerns
that Brawl may have LFF'd it. I know they're different kinds of
fighting games, but still, they appeal to casual fighting game fans

I think either me or yoblazer would've won if Seph had won that? Perhaps someone else recalls more accurately, I'm hazy on it. In CB8 you were 8th before Snake vs Sephiroth. You would have jumped to 4th in Sephiroth won. In CB7, you were first going into the final match so Link > Cloud would have guaranteed you first place. Here's
hoping that Legend of Dragoon takes off with the night vote to taken
down Uncharted's percentage further. That way Street Fighter IV might
have a chance next round (I got SFIV > Uncharted...).... assuming it
beats Sonic Adventure 2 first.... at the very least SFIV vs. Uncharted
2 would be a night match. Also, why be limited to comparing SFIV with Persona 4? Could it not have underperformed? --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. So...what is a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think." |

dicked SF4 over. Seriously if you think Persona effin 4 comes close to
Street Fighter 4 one on one you should just hand me your money right

GTAIV has absolutely nothing to do with SFIV. You can't just make up fanbase overlaps. Brawl is closer, but it's still a very different game with a different appeal. And it's not just that poll: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=3397 SFIV has tanked every poll its ever been in. --- DFF |

Wasn't
this board in agreement that SFII would completely manhandle IV? Yes,
it would be an SFF beatdown, but the general consensus was that II
would be the much stronger game legitimately as well. I dunno how much
weaker SA2 would be compared to Sonic 2, but we already saw the bigger
Sonic game take out the bigger SF game so easily. Nothing we've seen
suggests that SFIV has a real shot here (apart from branching out and

Sonic 1/2/3&K >>> SA2 and SF2 >>> SF4. I took SA2

Basically Hideo Kojima's pseudo-science means you can genetically create perfect soldiers and remove necessary body parts. Whatever. The point is Big Boss's being horny allowed China access to the Philosopher's Legacy and the Patriots decided to prevent this mistake from happening again when they genetically created the Sons of Big Boss. Probably impossible in real life, but it's video game science we're talking about here. But even still, doesn't give Snake an excuse to be such an insufferable douche in the original MGS. Go watch the scene after the Psycho Mantis fight. Calling Snake unhatable is a stretch. I mean I like the character, but he does a lot of dumb stuff in that game. It's 2 where I really fell in love with the guy. thought the great thing about Snake was that in MGS (the game most of
us played first) he starts off as a bitter loner who's apathetic
towards the world, but by the end he's changed substantially, and then

don't think it's just bracket voting - I seriously think that script

Well, looks like my switch to TF2 > Fable paid off! :D Whew. I'm going to go ahead and risk my battle points on SA2 as well, before banking on Sunlo.
