6 games in, and we still don't have a single entrant from Japan. Nothing in the day match today either, so that'll make 8 contestants before we get a single one from Japan. For a site where the entire Noble Nine (and all the near-elites) was made in Japan, and where our top 20 games were probably all made in Japan, that's pretty striking.

whats the general idea on TF2 vs. Fable?

I have 600 points so far and this matchup is giving me trouble.

TF2's the favorite, but then again Rock Band 2 was also the favorite and at least TF2/Fable has had some debate.

You wouldn't be too bad picking one or the other. At the same time, you'd want to get a long streak before banking, so I'd advise toward picking a game rather than banking that match. Banking 2100 points on Halo 3/Sunshine would be a great way to start the contest!

I thought that before the match, but I bumped it up to 38% in the PPC since even though we didn't see it coming other probably did.

Oh, and regarding Psychonauts' better-than-expected performance here, I personally think the match picture is a factor. Seriously, Psychonauts has an incredible boxart - it's better than just about any game in the contest, if you ask me!

Almost right off the bat, the perfects get killed on a match. Hopefully they'll start to do better from here. Assuming the 0s were trying to get the match wrong, they did really well. I'm guessing we've got that glitch where incomplete brackets are still counted in the tally again, though.

Oh ho ho, one of my alt brackets picked Deus Ex!

But that was the bracket where I picked every single feasible upset in the bracket, so it probably won't stay perfect for long!

I also did a bracket where I picked every single higher seed to win (yes, even Mother 3 > DMC3). I'll be curious to see what scores these brackets get!
