Ex fans are being pretty bad but it's kind of hard for me to care when
B8 will be doing the same a week from now if/when Halo 3 rolls over

Well, the idea was that, without any significant polls to go off of, it was a safe bet to take RB2, because of its massive casual appeal, vs. DX's small cult fanbase (Yes, I know it sold a million units 10 years ago, it's still considered cult on ConsoleFAQs), in addition to the fact that a day vote would garner a better vote for RB2 from the ASV factor. Unfortunately, the lack of previous poll info about the game seems to have been a loss for a lot of people. On the plus side, most of those same people took FO3 to win in the second round, so this is only 1 point lost. |

1. I am! 2. I meant that will be complaining about Halo in the same way people today are complaining about Rock Band. I don't think I've ever seen the level of "BAWWWW"ing over a game that's winning as I have during this match. They are literally complaining about a winning game, because it is not winning enough. To be fair, to a lot of people voting casually, this shouldn't be close. We have the benefit of past results, but if you're a PC fan just happening to vote and seeing Deus Ex almost upended by Rock Band, that could be like a bit of a slap in the face. --- DFF |

wow it seems that this site completely and utterly does not care about
music games, to an even greater extent than we realized. This contest
may have a lot more fodder games than we bargained for! --- I have no idea how Metroid: Other M got any scores lower than 60%. |

RB
2 needs to gain 18.1 votes per update (or 217.6) per hour to make this
comeback. Still not unfeasible, but it doesn't look like it will happen. |

An
interesting way to look at this: Deus Ex is now at a lead that took
4:40 to build. RB2 has 4:20 minutes to cut it down. RB will basically
need to cut at the same rate that Deus Ex was building the lead at the
beginning. |

The
only way RB2 can pull this off is if DE stops updating as consistently
as it has been (exception that 118, by some distance its worst update
numerically). If DE can keep something like what it's been doing for
the past hour up until the end of the match, it will prevent RB2

rest of the West Coast isn't helping out California here- Oregon is at
an astonishing 55% for Deus Ex, and RB is barely ahead in Washington. --- Nominate Crono so he can get a higher seed and avoid being fed to Clinkeroth early in the contest. |

I'm
not necessarily rooting for RB to win, I just want to see an awesome
comeback. For example, based on the last fifteen minutes RB 2 would
retake the lead at 12:05 AM. Wouldn't having the lead cut to 22 votes
before the final update be sick, regardless of who pulls it out? |

According
to the stats this comeback could actually happen. RB 2 is gaining in NA
and has a great lead in the Philippines, which gets the most votes of
any Asian country if I am not mistaken. So why isn't it coming back
more? RB has even cut a huge percentage out of Deus Ex's lead in SA,
not that they really bring in any votes anyway. |
