In
all fairness, prior to GHII laying an egg in the vote in poll, I would
have assumed that Guitar Hero games > Rock Band games, just because
they're easier to play. Almost nobody's going to put games like Rock Band 2 or Warcraft 3, good though they may be, in "Oh my God this is the best game ever" categories, yet that's exactly what games like Morrowind and Deus Ex thrive on, albeit in more obscure gaming sectors than especially something like Rock Band 2. That has never mattered in any Games Contest that we've had before, all of which were called Best Game Ever. Clearly no one on GameFAQS has any friends to play games with.* --- "Ahem! There is *sand* on my *boot*!"--Kefka Dr. Football beat me, Yesmar in the 2010 Guru Contest! *Not meant on a slur, on Deus Ex. I have no doubt it's great and probably better than Rock Band 2. We've just never had any indication that many on GameFAQS has played the latter. |

I'm
almost wondering if Deus Ex is doing so well cuz of all the Fallout
fans on the site atm due to New Vegas. They're very similiar games...
both first person shooter RPGs, so it would appeal to fans of Fallout.

Sounds
reasonable to me. There's also the match pic being heavily in Deus Ex's
favor. On one side are hipsters and on the other you have JC Denton

The ASV won't matter at this rate. stabilized at 52%. I think that number will go up for RB with the ASV.
This should be very close. RB should also gain a lot from 7 onwards
when Europe and Asia have almost no influence. |
